I don't know why he's listed with the DTs. He plays DE/OLB, he's ranked as a DE, he body size says DE, and there's I found no mention of DE in his IE Profile.

When we set up the Recruiting Profiles 7 years ago we discussed recruiting service ranked position versus a college's needs/projections. We opted to stay with the recruiting service position as that's how they classify them, evaluate them, and keep score. Later in the recruiting season the services make changes (sometimes) for position changes made in HS or if a kid had a grow spurt. Matuskas was classified TE by the services. Since many of them wrote about him preferring offense but selecting ND anyway to play DE they might end up changing it - in time. For ND's Needs, he's a DE as you noted.

there i moved Drennon. I will be keeping Matuska at TE until we pick up another one so argue all you want its not getting moved.

Wouldn't get too excited about Mathis naming Michigan his leader. He's already committed to Washington then decommitted very shortly after, and has named at least 2 other schools his leader after visiting. It'll probably be more of the same for the next 10 months. Heading out to Ann Arbor on his own dime does show serious interest though.

Anyone know if Sherit and McQuay III are visiting on some day? Both are from Tampa area and I believe are friends and have "spring visits" to ND

Would be a nice "go big or go home" tactic for Alford and Kelly since we probably dont lead for either

It basically says its an honor to get an offer from Notre Dame but i have the chest to play at LSU.

From now on I will look at recruits and check for developed pecs. If they have enough, I will say, you should play at LSU for Les Miserable.

Can't we do anything for a man who really misses his gunner?

I got you Slu but i do believe you need to change your name to SLUDOMER. Redfield will visit and we are in his top 5. Its an Oregon USC battle. Clement nothing really to report. Karl Roesler will visit for the spring game. Barring a Bruce Heggie this one wont be a happening.
