Don't believe this has been posted yet, focuses more on the runningbacks. Even in the drills you can see how explosive Amir is. Folston looks to be the real deal also which helps to salve the loss of Hood.
I really hope the coaches never run Tommy on an option play. The defense will just swarm to the RB, leaving Tommy open for a big hit and/or fumble. Any coach that's seem a game of tape from the past 3 years will know he's not going to hurt you if he keeps.
The BIG comment by Diaco was that Ishaq, unlike in the past, "has a 'ruggedness' about him this year".
THAT's what we needed to hear. Ishaq finally REALLY wants to get physical every play, and dominate an opponent when possible.
I've now [blessedly at last] changed my mind as to whether the big fellow is going to be of truly significant help this season. Now I'm looking forward to him being on the field.
Thank you, Ishaq, for getting your massive-motor going.

Jarron Jones needs to find that ruggedness now as well.
In regards to the whole option/ sweep thing in the video:
Apparently GAIII is he starting RB, and will get more carries than any other single player (but probably below 50% still IMO). I am a little surprised by this since he pad level has been a huge problem in the past, and his lateral agility hasn't been ideal either. Now pad level is fixable its more of a technique thing, so it is fixable (with coaching/ practice/ muscle memory). Lateral agility is more of a "physical limitation" you can work to improve it, but IMO it more of a natural ability thing. Now GAIII's straight line speed is awesome, but his lateral agility/ cutting ability isn't (still above average). I think what we are seeing are ways to get the ball outside to GAII to utilize his speed (see Miami last year) rather than sending him between the tackles every play (well, the majority of the plays). I also like how TJ Jones move to the slot could impact this. Jones is a plus blocker IMO, so he is definitely capable of setting a good edge and allowing GAIII to get outside. I think we see Tommy doing the pitch plays (something I have noticed alot in the videos- moreso than normal handoffs) to cater to GAIII's strengths (his straight line speed). Getting the ball outside quickly is key. I think that is why we are using the pitch more often (via the videos) rather than the handoff (of course it could just be those chose to show us that. I think we will see Bryant and Cam between the tackles and GAIII (and Amir) with the outside runs more often than not.
Summary: We are using the pitch and option plays to get the ball out wide cater to GAII's strength (straight line speed), not because Tommy can (or will) run.
Of course I am no expert, and this is purely conjecture (kind of like most of this thread), so take it for what it is worth, but those are my thoughts.
I somewhat agree, but we can still get GAIII outside quickly (and more securely) by putting him in motion and dropping him back in next to Tommy - pretty much what we saw with every RB in that video after the they ran the option.
I really like that play. It opens up the play action really well and is a safer way to get GAIII outside. I'm not a fan of running the option with Tommy, at least against teams with quicker DE's/LB's.

Whoever said "let's ****ing go!" at the beginning of the video is my kind of motivator.
