Ben Councell is a really good player who can do more than Spond but lacks the experience which could lead to mistakes. I have no evidence of this but hearsay... but I believe it firmly. That is all.

Simple sprain's can also require a boot/brace

But I don't want to speculate that his injury is minor, could be something big or something minor. We'll find out soon.

If you read it you would understand the main point was this team lacking an offensive identity (which you acknowledge in your above post) going into year four and not debating strategy. If you don't think running the football is the key to offensive success this season your delusional.

I'm most concerned about Springmann (and whenever there is a knee injury). He's the backup we can least afford to lose IMO. Rochell, Jones & Utupo isn't very good depth at DE

I actually anticipated a bunch of injury news today after three full days of radio silence from practice. Kelly's presser can't come soon enough. Hopefully none of the injuries are serious.

Omg a serious injury to Springmann would be really bad, with our lack of depth on the D line. Mahone, not as bad from a depth standpoint but I would be really bummed for him. He was one of my favorite recruits in that class, personality-wise. Hope both will recover.

Losing Mahone for a while would suck. He was having a very good camp, and seemed to be one of our backs that was adapting very well to the slot. Hopefully all of these injuries are just quick fixes, and we'll have a healthy bunch for Temple.

Also, UND.com isn't saying anything about Kelly's presser. Are we sure it's today?

Kelly was scheduled to be available for the media after practice yesterday and that session was moved to today. None of the media are tweeting anything from practice, so they must still be in there.

Edit: A "press conference" (i.e. an event UND.com would air live) is different than "media availability" (i.e. delayed video from UND.com).
