Your determined to dig the hole deeper, aren't you?
The 0-3 was between him and i it was a "neg rep" sent to me saying i'm 0-2 to him...
You were 0-2 for the bogus definitive statement you made and for the, how do I say this politely, your two step follow up dance trying to change your statement. By the way you neglected to note to NDinL.A. that my neg rep was in response to your neg rep of my factual post AND your inclusion of an adhominem attack since you had no reasonable response.
See and this is why i find this amusing.... Let's look at this from my perspective.
I made the most vague, general statement about freshman redshirting in the past.... Fact is it is more common that freshman do redshirt( i didn't state years or even what team i was talking about, once again a VERY GENERAL STATEMENT).... So along comes BGIF who takes a insignificant general comment and spews his knowledge (kudos for being so smart) out at it as if i was stating hard evidence... Which is quite arrogant and pompous to do towards someone. I appreciate how much knowledge he has but to simply go and try to "ONE UP" someone when the initialstatement was in GENERAL terms is just ridiculous.
Your own words contradict you, Mike. You responded to a statement Bogs made in post #997
And two years ago the class needed to be redshirted (basically)?
You replied to that with a very definitive, specific, yet incorrect statement in post #1000
It's a thing of the past to red-shirt all freshmen
You replied to Bogs in context and I replied to you in context. Actually I can't ever recall ND red shirting all freshmen (and Bogs didn't say that either). There were years freshman didn't play as college rules banned freshman but then that wasn't a red shirt, was it? They were ineligible.
Once again when you quote someone on sites use caution because you are speaking to them directly....
You might want to practice that especially when it's your own quote you try to dance around.
Those that have been on this board for a while know that when I make an incorrect statement and anyone corrects it, I issue a public "mea culpa", thank the poster, and issue positive reps not negative reps with an ad honimen attack.
Any news on today's practice?
I saw yesterday that Keith Arnold's article on the freshmen indicated that several will probably redshirt will some others should get PT. As usual.
