Him and Coach Taylor along with a couple others were having dinner at Brothers while I was there pregaming the ND hockey game. Incredibly well built for a kid still a junior in high school especially in person.

A Murphy/Tyree combo would be incredible.

And it's a near perfect complement. Murphy is a big, powerful back with good speed. Tyree is the fastest kid in high school.

I just looked through Tyree's twitter account and now I want him even more than I did. Incredibly well-spoken, genuine kid. Same with Tirek.

It's hard to find very athletic kids who aren't bought into themselves and both of these guys fit the bill.

This is the most I've wanted two RB prospects.

Probably fair in running styles. Neither is a burner. I went back and watched TJJrs junior highlights and it's hard to get a read on him because his OL opened up 6 foot gaps for him to run through. I also didn't see him catch the ball like Tirek.

I guess we'll have to see how Tirek looks in his senior film before saying anything definitely because these kids are still growing but I don't think you're way off in your assessment.

I do think Tirek looks to have a bit more athleticism at similar stages.

Generally agree with VDP on this. I think they have some similarities between them. Both have good all around skillsets with no real discernible elite traits. However, I do think there is a fairly noticeable difference in overall athleticism with Tirek versus Jones Jr at similar stages. While I don't think Tirek has elite speed, I think he has another gear that I didn't see from Jones Jr.

Let's clean up one thing right now. He is listed most places at 6-0 and I've seen 6-1 used also. He's not. He's 5-10ish. Those pics of him standing next to Josh Adams & BK are telling.
