This is CRAZY.

The kid visited the University of Michigan and had a great time. Most kids HATE visits to that school. It is ugly and no fun at all--and its cold even in the summer.

Also, based on the 17 year old's immediate post-visit responses to football recruiting media, it was clear he was definitely going to Michigan. It is very rare that a kid has a post-visit high--most kids are there to crunch the numbers, gather objective facts, and that is it. The fact that he had a great time at Michigan meant he was going to choose Michigan.

ND was in the rear view mirror.

In the meantime, nothing at all has changed except that a second top 10 WR prospect with Brunelle's exact athletic profile will not be choosing ND. Brunelle will no longer be the third highest ranked outside WR by a good margin. But we all know he doesn't care about that because he is a competitor.

It all just doesn't make sense.

Would be a welcome addition to the class, but I hope he improves his hands. The videos from Irish Invasion worried me a bit with some drops and waiting for the ball to get into his body on deep routes. The athletic profile is certainly there though.

I don’t know the validity of this so TIFWIW but a poster at 247 seems to have an in here and explained it as. The offer received at II was a committable one but it was made clear to him that it was more or less as an ATH. With ST’s being his focus and very little about his place at WR.

Obviously, Henning and McMillan going elsewhere has opened up those spots and all of Polian, Long, Kelly were able to speak with him yesterday and must’ve done a good job conveying the pitch.

Was listed as the MVP of the event by many and had several big time catches over defenders. His overall performance there was quite dominating from what I saw and heard. A couple drops doesn't worry me too much. Why they offered him as an ATH and not just a WR I'm not sure. He seems like a solid WR with very good speed and athleticism. I wouldn't think of putting him at RB or S so I guess I just don't understand the ATH offer.

Update: 2 New CB’s from the Boston College & MI insiders. Apparently is expected to announce his commitment this evening. Looking like they may have sealed the deal last night. We also have an EJ Holland Starbucks tweet. Pretty wild turn of events here.

I wonder if this gets Watts to move towards a public commitment.

Drew Pyne retweeted Jay’s highlights on twitter. I don’t think he did that just because

Loy just did the eating ninja emoji in Brunelle's thread, which I believe is his version of the frappe
