I really hope the staff knows to keep this kid away from the other recruits. He’s either a poison pill or he’s going to silently commit to the staff this weekend, trick Loy/recruitniks into reporting that ND has taken the lead, then commit to Michigan in three weeks.

Pretty sure it was the guys on ISD or B&G that had mentioned after signing day that the ego and vibe with Cornelius Johnson is why ND cooled on him. I believe they said they felt a “me guy” over “we guy” vibe.

Now, i don't understand the move of putting a skunk pic on his twitter before visit, seems odd. Maybe he really is evaluating the Irish but I hope the staff keeps a close eye on any trojan horse attempts. If he makes the wrong move, bars of soap and pillow cases should do the trick.

Now if he wants to be Irish, i'd welcome him but he'll need to be recruited until the ink dries.

Honestly I think the staff would move on if they think AJ is a Michigan lock. McGregor played ND and wasn’t publicly displaying love to Michigan like AJ is. The staff wouldn’t have him visit if they didn’t think they lead especially with all the publicity he is giving Michigan. I think AJ is completely trolling Michigan in retribution for McGregor.

That would be a nice twist. I'm not saying I wouldn't like him to be Irish but everything he is posting/saying certainly has a Michigan lean. And to visit ND amongst all this noise doesn't add up so maybe you are on to something...

Going back to page 10 what GBdomer said, this kid nor any kid owes ND nothing.

There is a difference between good and Clemson good. If you want to be Clemson good then you go after a kid like Henning and you don't stop recruiting him...especially if he has a "jimmy ego." Jimmy had swagger and he couldn't back it up because of bad coaching and defense. Would I want a Gunner Kiel ego kid? No.

I like what we currently have at WR, but is it elite? No. I see Finke having a big year (where he gets drafted in next years draft) and Michael Young is due this year. Claypool is going to have to step it up, Austin seems to be in the Dex Williams dog house, and there are unknowns with a lot of young guys.

Some of you think we should give up on this guy, when he can help ND be Clemson good?? There are a lot of armchair quarterbacks on this board!

I don't think anyone is disagreeing on his talent. There always have been and always will be a lot of ACQ's here. I would love to see this kid in B&G, but I just get the feeling it may take a lot of work if he signs.
