No, his OV’s to Wiscy and OSU were formalities for him completing the process. Take a couple non-ND OV’s, enjoy the process a bit, and then get to recruiting for the class.

With the talent already here and the realities of modern college football, it feels like this a a “golden age” for DL recruiting. I would’ve been surprised to utter those words not too long ago. This staff should be credited with turning around a historically weak spot over the last couple decades (obvious exceptions here and there). The difference seems to be the depth along the entire line. Taking a step back and looking at the position groups, I’m very encouraged overall as well. RB seems to be the only spot that hasn’t been top shelf lately (hopefully Tyree changes that). I’m certainly looking forward to the finish of this class and the future classes.

Taking into consideration that we’re coming off a playoff berth and the recruiting is humming along..... Pretty good spot to be in with the arrow pointing UP

I think his usage will be very similar to Tillery. He’ll be a depth chart/base defense 3T that will be moved around (0T, 5T, etc.) in sub-packages.
