Just an FYI and it might be nothing but Brian Kelly mentioned 9 early enrollees. Right now only 8 are signed . I know the Utah CB came in, but I'm pretty sure we'll be happy with a full 19 man class come 4:30PM.

What’s his ceiling?
Henderson may be the most intriguing athlete out of everyone in Notre Dame's class. He has legit elite speed. That combined with his size and ball skills make it easy to see why the coaching staff wanted him, but he's much better as a receiver than a defensive back right now.

He's raw with his technique, but if the staff can refine his skills at cornerback, his ceiling is sky high. He has NFL potential and the Irish haven’t produced too many NFL cornerbacks in recent years. Henderson has the athletic traits to be an exception by the time he leaves Notre Dame.

His fastest outdoor 100 was a 10.66. However, he does have that insane indoor 55M time of 6.30.

But is this guy really projecting to play DB? Seems like he could be a weapon offensively. Then again I do love his height and we need the help on the back end.

My guess is he converts to offense. If the stride is as long and the breaks as tough as people have noted, I cant see him in coverage. But then again, who knows??

Staff definitely wants him for the DB position group to start. Unless it is a sure fire thing that he can’t play DB then he’ll transfer over but he’s for sure spending time at DB at ND

Yea, they really like his length to play corner and think they can beef him up and make him more physical. I think they believe that you need someone on the roster who can match up with bigger, physical wide receivers. You hope that he can develop the skills to be an everydown corner, but I think they'll take him even if it means he only plays significant snaps against teams with longer wideouts.

Exactly, if they can get this guy to play at a great level, this is the exact body you want guarding a Tee Higgins type of receiver. I hope it works out.

Caleb Offord has 34' arms. That's insane. Don't know if it will translate, but it's good tools to work with.
