Wow. From the looks of it. ND might be back in the drivers seat for this one which is crazy. I have to say, Elston ceraintly walked the walk on signing day. That dude stood at the podium on NSD and boldly said this would be a historically good 6-7 DLineman class and to start with...

.9472 4* Nana Osafo-Mensah
.9391 4* Jacob Lacey
.9037 4* Hunter Spears
.8974 4* Howard Cross

That’s an amazing start if things go well for the good guys on May 19th. Hats off to Elston for the work on the trail so far.

So can we get Ellison back on board too? Also I don't think this one is over just yet. Texas is gonna stay on him

Texas board speculating that he might even be a silent commit to ND. Now we just wait until May 19th for the news. Would be an incredible piece to this class.

I love it when the conspiracy theorists come out.

I think ND always was.

UT will stay on top of him, but it's over. Texas can't add what ND has which is what is drawing him to ND.

I know we always think that we're the one's getting clickbaited by recruiting services, but the way this has played out seems like Texas fans were getting that treatment if it turns out that Nana was always leaning Irish.

He better be Irish, his ND edit is my phone screen saver. If he goes to TX, it will take me like 3 months to figure out how to change it.

COME ON NANA!!!

There isn't a single recruit (that I thought we had a decent shot with) this year that I wanted more than Nana.

If he commits to ND, someone needs to hit the Texas message board with a

Na Na Na
Na Na Na
Hey Hey Goodbye.

My UT friend has been talking smack for about a month on Watson and Nana going to UT over ND, including Friday heading into the OV.
He sent me a concession text this morning for Nana.
I’m hoping this rings true. Go Irish!

As someone who lived in longhorn territory for 6 years, I’ll gladly volunteer for that job.

Crazy looking at the class calculator that should ND add Nana, Correll, and Rodas Johnson relatively soon without the teams ahead of them adding any then ND would sit atop the Team Rankings. Just shows the quality that this class is shaping up to be.

You know it's:

Hey Hey Hey...Goodbye

Right?

He's an immediate need too so he'll have every opportunity to earn early minutes

The 19' season, it's going to be fairly crowded at WDE, if all players are still at the position. However, we lose the top 2 after the 19' season so that will quickly open up minutes. Goal should be for Nana to be up to starter quality play by his sophomore season.

Well Mike Roach just flipped his CB to ND. He is the Texas 247 reporter that first threw down the Texas CB that started the string of CB's that freaked out so many people on this board.

Now Andrew Ellis. Seems this one is wrapped up. Now just have to hold on for the ride for the next 7 months. Kid seems like a commit and close down type of recruit. But things change. A recruitment this close with the backyard school, you have to cling on for dear life.

I'm very glad he took his Texas official now instead of worrying about that for the next few months.

this commit will be so soft imo for the next 7 months if we do land him. would speak mad volumes to the staff if they can get this kid to sign the dotted line with the backyard school firmly all over him as some have suggested here.

They've also got plenty of experience with keeping guys invested, despite vocal home supporters.

Thank you. I've mentioned this several times already. Nana's recruitment is so similar to Tillery's. Nana's like Tillery's commitment to ND won't be for the same reasons as most recruits.

Since I don't think this recruitment was about football and the "flash", that UT is trying to sell, as much as some thought. I'm not as concerned about a flip, provided we don't have a 2016 season coming up.
