I'm certainly not doom and gloom here but for the record I was pretty high on Cade the first time I saw his tape. I do hope in the end he ends up signing at ND, he's looks like a solid college quarterback prospect.

Actually my favorite part of that interview was where he said he wants to go somewhere so competitive that even if he doesn't win the starting job he'll have a shot at the NFL. Wha?

If this was going to happen, best it happens while we've still got time to reel in another. Good news it sounds like maybe we've already been looking around?

One it’s never real good to go through this because of the he said she said crap.

But it is still not to late in the cycle to grab another good QB.

These kind of kids are not meant for ND. I give credit to the staff for identifying Cade early in the process. The kid gets a nice rating on 24/7, a few new offers, and believes the negative recruiting.

Maybe he should've called Blake Barnett before he decommited. How is Barnett doing by the way?

Close, he’s from NV. But yea, makes sense. Though UM fans thought he was headed there after some of his thoughts on QB guru Jim Harbaugh and his QB Coaches relationship with him.

Lol, pretty darn funny.

However, if JT Daniels is as advanced as some think. He could very well be a 3 and done QB. So that puts Cade as a Junior, with 3 years of eligibility, and a chance to start.

Long story short, we'll certainly get our chance to light this kid up. He's going to have the luxury to play against a LOADED defense, unless we get some early departures.
