Kid has looked pretty solid tonight all things considered. Kind of reminds me of Book.

Thinking the same thing.. He isn't as mobile, but seems to know the offense and makes the right read.. It was against Rutgers but 4 Tds in regulation in 2 1/2 quarters is pretty impressive

This board said the same thing about Mertz. Let’s see if he also falls off in game #2. Although PSU is soulless right now.

Silver lining, if he plays good, maybe he scares away McCarthy. If he goes, their entire class falls apart.

I can't see JJ not starting by Gm-1 of '22. If Cade's smart, he'll finish his Kinesiology degree and get to Oregon St or the Mountain West on Jan. 1

Agreed, one of them will not be there in '22. My money would also be on Cade leaving but who knows.

Oregon St., I like the call. I think my OSU buddies would be pretty fired up to get an ex-starting QB from Michigan.

If you are keeping Rees this is brilliant. Grad transfer would not have been totally missed up by Rees horrible instruction. Just had that thought, let other programs who care teach our QB'S!

Heck why stop there? We have a lot of dead weight. Let's outsource all the coaching we can!

Its sad but Cade is now the #2 at UM. How UM might have 3 Qbs that are better than any one of NDs. JJ was named the starter for UCONN. You have to assume Cade is not thrilled. Why not bounce for the dumpster fire that is NDs quarterback room?

Can you mid season transfer?

It’s sucky to think we could’ve had JT Daniels. He might’ve been the difference vs Ohio State.
