What's your point?

Obviously, if Wimbush didn't turn out as expected, then no QB in the future could ever do so. Very rational thought process, right? They will all have the same exact fate as him.

That is pretty impressive. Could be getting a couple of really great QBs back-to-back.

247 update now has him ranked #171 in the 247 up 193 spots with a 91 ranking

Props to the ND coach/staffer that identified McNamara when he was rolling with only Nevada and Hawaii offers. I remember being skeptical when we took his commitment, but watching his film immediately converted me. The kid makes NFL throws on a consistent basis.

Also, while I love Jurkovec’s measurables and physicality, I have a lingering fear he’s going to have Wimbush-type problems at the next level. If we can hang on to McNamara, I wouldn’t at all be surprised if he overtakes PJ at ND.

Gotta give Tommy Rees some credit here. Got in on Cade early and was able to build that relationship.

Mike Sanford

He was offered by Rees. And stated as such in interviews. Sanford was gone in Dec. of 16’ and we offered Cade June 28th of 17’. He committed on July 17th. Not sure why Sanford would get credit for a kid committing after he left. Usually that’d work against said school, if it mattered.

I meant to bring this up and forgot about it but I swear I saw a tweet last week that said USC offered Cade. Does anybody else remember seeing that? I can't find it anywhere but I swear I'm not going crazy

He's going to be a stud for us. I love QBs with big arms and fast feet but Cade really has the "Drew Brees" factor. I'm a huge fan and I expect him to do big things in South Bend.

He's going to have a monster senior year and continue rising up the rankings. (And I'm not a hyperbole guy. I'm excited about PJurk but I have no idea how he'll transition to the college game).

Whoa-extremely insightful article.

Didn't have a ton of info, but at least a little insight into his commitment.

You want to read bland reporting that states the obvious and rarely ever has any new info or insights read Carrie Muskat who reports for the Cubs on mlb.com

I am amazed at how some people have these jobs when as fans we are more informed than they are and they get paid to be informed or at least offer insightful and thoughtful reporting.

That's just the thing -- the average fan ISN'T more informed than these people are.

Come on F-Bolt, you knew they targeted 15 QB's and got 13 off them on campus and worked them out?

Since this was a nothing new read for you, who are the 2 QB's that didn't make it to campus?

Most people don't know that both McNamara and Morris attempted to commit on the same day. Funny now they are looking at a 2nd QB in this class. They could have had two good ones in the same day.

A 6' QB with only a handful of offers who's a 3 star (or 0 star)? I'm giving up on ND recruiting. I'm sure he's a steal though.

I'm happy for the kid. I'm not happy with ND's recruiting. We're so far away from being a playoff team, it's getting boring. BK needs to go - we need a new coach who get the entire staff recruiting at a competitive level.

So now that Bama, Michigan and USC has offered him can we back off on not recruiting at a competitive level?
