Josh McDaniels drafted a TE high and then barely used him. Once McDaniels got the boot it seemed like they utilized Mayer more. It was an awful team to land at, I'm still a bit shocked Cincinnati didn't bring in the hometown boy when they needed a TE. My only hope is, now that the Raiders have Bowers too, they're either going all in on 2 TE sets (I heard the new OC really loves his TEs) or they actually trade Mayer to a team that will use him.
Kmet is a fantastic TE, but I still think Mayer is more talented. If you have them swap locations, given the issues the Bears had at WR, Mayer would have had a ton of yards too.
