The most amazing part of that play after rewatching it is he wasn't even running full tilt to the edge. He took a second to keep his shoulders square to the LOS and stayed disciplined in case the qb would have cut back inside. He had two options shut down against a crazy good athlete.

He will be fun to watch the next two years.

Anyone who hopes for a 4th season is setting themselves up for heartache.

Bold prediction on my part. If Kyle stays healthy, stays out of trouble off and on the field and continues to develop at a normal rate...he is a lock for top 10 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft

Safeties don't seem to get a ton of love early in the 1st, reserved for QBs and edge rushers. I could see him being a Malik Hooker or Minkah Fitzpatrick tho, and Grant Delpit out of LSU this year was projected Top 10 but he's had tackling issues last few games and slipped to middle of the 1st.

One thing is for sure, this dude is on another level out there. When he closes, you can just tell he's a future pro.

This is true about safeties as they are devalued and rarely taken in the top 10. But, the truly special safeties, which I think Kyle is one of them, break that rule.

I cannot believe how impactful he's been. Our best safety and I'm not sure it's close. I was doubtful he'd be a player this year due to not being an EE, and I was wrong. Must be a special kid.

On that note, could Jalen Elliot possibly have a quieter year? He's started every game and I often forget he's even playing, good or bad. Just non-existent it seems

If Stingley is better, I should start watching some Stingley.

He's incredible. Probably one of the two or three best CBs in the country already.

Congrats to Kyle. IMO he had an even better season than we expected.

SEC slant, Kyle had the same number of interceptions in a 1/3 of the targets.
I mean they play two different positions. And Stingley graded just slightly higher than Hamilton according to PFF. There's no sec slant to be had.

Apparently he's up to 225. So, he's a 6'4 225 S with a 42" vertical. It don't get much more freakish than that.

No to offense. Every great team needs defensive game changers --- they are rare.

Well if we get to see him play this year there is going to be some players that get rocked.

It'll be truly heartbreaking if we don't get to see Hamilton or Owusu this year. It'll more than likely be Owusu's last and I doubt Hamilton is around for more than 3. So, only one more season of him.
