This is what I'm hoping as well. His ranking is about to shoot up 100+ spots

He’s at #359 on 247. Almost everyone else on the dream team list was in the top 100. I don’t know if he gets all the way there, but I’m guessing the jump will be closer to 200 spots on 247. I have no clue what Rivals and ESPN will do.

More than likely Rivals won’t budge, because it wasn’t one of their camps, lol

In the 247 rankings I think he’s at least going to jump into the top 200. Say somewhere in 7-12 range at S’s, probably 150-200 overall.

No, they do, but it's not their camp so they have no motivation to move kids.

Right. I guess there is a bit of an inbuilt necessity, maybe like a gentlemen's agreement, that they disagree radically at times otherwise if they all rate the same or even just similar as one another why have more than one?

This, they refuse to properly evaluate prospects that are not already in their “group” if they don’t camp with them.

wow did he look quick and ball hawking

He's a special talent. This is my Shayne Simon of this class in that he's such a good prospect and perfect fit for ND, that it's like a 5 star prospect. In fact, I'm sure I've said that before, but I'm that excited about him long term.

It will be interesting to see if D. Allen sticks at FS. Think about the length at athleticism of a defense that could field Lamb at Mike, Simon at Buck, Allen at Rover, Hamilton at FS and Griffith at SS.

You mean SS? Houston, and I assume Hamilton at FS.

Was Houston working at Whip (FS) during Spring practice? I could be wrong, but I thought he was at Stud. (SS) Maybe I was just projecting my personal preference. I'd have Allen start at FS. I think his footwork and length are great for that position to start.

Kyle Hamilton* is a not a 3-star prospect. I don’t have him rated as one. We’ve talked about it frequently on Power Hour how he is extremely underrated nationally. His film shows nothing to indicate he should have been one either. But for the sake of clarity, he went and proved he should be ranked higher while competing against the best prospects in the nation at The Opening Finals in Dallas.

He also proved that he shouldn’t be labeled a future linebacker just because he is taller and has longer arms than most other defensive backs. Hamilton is fast, fluid, and has big time ball skills. He likely would have had two picks in the 7 on 7 championship game if not for playing with finger he dislocated the previous day.

He was able to get his hands on the football a lot and showed he can cover the deep half at a very high level. Georgia and Ohio State wanted him in their class for a reason. He is a unicorn with his combination of size and speed in a free safety. There is no doubt in my mind he was one of the top safeties competing at the camp and seeing him in person made me realize that I am too low with my ranking of a 91 for him too.

Mike has said it for awhile that he thinks Hamilton is the best player in the class for the Irish. He just might be and his ranking should reflect that. Having him on the same defense as Houston Griffith, Derrik Allen, and the others they have brought in recently is going to be a different experience for Notre Dame fans.

There has been some good individual talent on recent editions of the Irish defense, but the collection of athletes they are compiling is going to be very fun to watch develop over the next few years.

Much like we expected, looks like Kyle made a HUGE jump (along with Kristofic) in the new 247 Rankings

Jumped 23 spots, all the way up to 156

4 Star with a 92 rating

Much deserved . . .Litchfield Ajavon is still ranked 583 on 247. That's just wrong.

Still way too low.

When you're 6-3.5/190 and put on a 5* performance at an even loaded with 5*'s while erasing any doubt about your speed and instincts to play FS at any program in the country, you're a 5*.

Individual R&R's are somewhere between a crap-shoot and a crap-bag.

When it comes to big dicks vs. little dicks, I've learned women prefer a thicker wallet.

Until Mr Thick Wallet is in New York for quarterly meetings...

That's when she's at some seedy motel on the other side of town with the real... Mr Thick.

When it comes to dicks, it's not the size of the wand, but the magic in it.

He really is gangly but apparently strong. Makes me think of Spiderman. Is that a lame nickname?
