Forgot to respond to this, but I think he'll turn a lot of heads down in Dallas next month. This kid's ranking is gonna take a sharp turn north. Hard to find a 6'3'' Safety that can move the way he does and tracks the football as well as he does.

I think he's a total stud, and probably a top 4 player in ND's class so far.

We have ten 2019 commits, and they're overall a really good ten, so even being in the middle would be no slouch.

Kyle Hamilton happens to be the lowest rated, according to the composite.

But I think he's a better prospect than all besides Nana, Quinn Carrol, and probably Jacob Lacey.

I have no idea if he's the best player in ND's class but after watching myself, I certainly won't laugh at the person who makes that claim.

Long athletes like him do big time things. I like him a lot.

Of the first 10 safeties drafted. Here are some of their attributes...

Height: 6'0''-6'2''
Weight: 190-215lbs
Speed: 4.32 (Tavarius Moore) - 4.51 (one outlier of 4.61 for Rashaan Gaulden)
Vertical: 30" - 41.5"

At 6'3'' and almost 190 pounds, Hamilton is already qualifying in terms of god given attributes. Then speed he's ran a laser timed 4.79 40 yard dash which is not fast, but I think he builds a lot of speed in college as he adds strength and athleticism to his frame. And then vertical leap he's been measured at 35 inches which already very very good. Overall, you're looking at a guy who, just on physical attributes, is a couple notches of speed away from being a top ten safety in the nfl draft. Now, this does not at all include the football perspective. AND this is not saying he's a 3rd round pick in 4 years, but I'm just pointing out his physical attributes are very impressive for a high school kid who's already matching high NFL draft picks in some categories!

He’s a special talent. It certainly doesn’t seem like ND fans realize how big of a commit/recruitment this was because of his ranking. OSU, Mich, and UGA really wanted this kid.

He’s a Shayne Simon type for ND. In that because he’s such a good player and fit, it’s like a 5 star prospect.

When watching Hamilton on day two of The Opening, it was then that he started to make his mark. Hamilton was terrific on Sunday. He started things off by running a 4.62 in the 40-yard dash, a 4.14 in shuttle, a 46.7 in the power ball, which was No. 1 according to all defensive backs, and jumped 40 inches in the vertical. He not only looked the part physically, but he backed that up with a ton of athleticism. Then Hamilton hit the field for the one-on-one portion of the event and shined once again. Again, this is a guy who will be playing safety in South Bend, but on Sunday he showed that he can stick with some of the best receivers in the country on an island. His drops were clean and quick, he almost looked like he was running the routes for the receivers, and he broke on the ball extremely quick. He absolutely looked the part of a four-star prospect and one of the nation’s most talented safeties, in my opinion. I’ve been a tough critic on him due to his performance at the Underclassmen Combine in San Antonio. He was solid, but looked like just another guy. It’s clear Hamilton put in a ton of work since January and he genuinely looked elite on Sunday. It was a very impressive performance.

The way it seems to work with ND commits is, he wins MVP of the Opening he only gets downgraded to two stars, anything below MVP means he goes to UR

You can see the upside and athleticism in Hamilton when he’s 1on1 with some speedy receiver but in this setting, when he can comfortably be in a more natural free safety role and let his length, athleticism and range do the work, he was awesome. Stock way up for this guy. Hamilton has committed to Notre Dame.
