I am so sorry. But this kid looks tiny to me.

Maybe it is the way they're standing, but Ralphie looks broader in the shoulder and chest.

Yeah, but I saw another picture with Bauer and Elston. How tall is Elston? I stood next to him and spoke with him once or twice, and he didn't seem that tall. I was thinking six-twoish, or so. Not 6'4" or 6'5". So I am looking at Bauer's film where he looks small, (someone said), and these couple of pictures and thinking, hmmm?

Anyone got anything conclusive?

Lucky, if you scroll up to the family pic, he does look a bit on the smallish size, but the pic with the other recruits, makes him look more stout

Bauer was dropped to a 3* today after struggling at a camp in Cleveland. Hilarious to me drop a kid one star grade after a so so t shirt and shorts event. Watch the kids film and if that's what three stars look like then I'll take those kids all day

This is just more validation that the services have no F'ing idea how to evaluate prospects. And it's not because they lowered his rating, it's because the reasons for lowering his rating, were the same reasons he probably shouldn't have been that high in the first place. It's all been on tape for 2 years now.

Also, I think there is a little PTSD from Adams last year, and that is affecting Bauer. Once again, probably shouldn't have even been as high as he was, then the pendulum swung in the other direction too far. Same thing here.

At the end of the day, I like Bauer and Jurkovec. Let the services drop the heck out of them, and I'll still enjoy watching them play on Saturday's.

Adams didn't deserve the drop. If the services did their research, they'd have realize that Adams played all of last year on an injury that required surgery. The guy was up to his high 4-star billing.

Adams definitely derserved "a" drop from his lofty early ranking. But not as far as 247 dropped him, hence my post illustrating that precise thought, saying the pendulum swung too far in the other direction. They are somewhat athletically limited players, but that doesn't mean they can't be productive players.

Bauer finished with eight tackles, two sacks and several quarterback hurries as he continued to fight through blocks. He led a Prep defense that held the Vikings to 210 yards of offense. Hunter Orlando added seven tackles for the Ramblers.

“Bauer was unbelievable,” Mike Mischler said. “He plays hard, and he plays fast. He’s such a powerful kid, and he is a great kid too. He hit the quarterback early, and Terry was in a great position.

Terry Roberts is a different kid this year. He was awesome last year, but he is stronger and faster and a great defensive player.”
