Just made me question this offer
“It was good to see [ND victory] and then Michigan lost so it made it an even better day,” Bauer said.
Notre Dame commit Matthew Bauer, USC verbals Bo Calvert and Palaie Gaoteote, Ohio State pledge Teradja Mitchell and uncommitted Solomon Tuliaupupu are up for the honor with the winner to be announced on Dec. 6.
100 miles away from the state championship game in Hershey. Seems like a strange place to practice on the day before the game? I call shenanigans.

Eh maybe. Erie to Hershey is also a 5 hour drive. So to stop in State College over night and practice isn't the worst thing in the world.
Neither is driving straight through to Hershey and driving 10 minutes to Bishop McDevitt for practice.
I get it. They could practice at Milton Hershey too. I'm just saying, they maybe wanted to not travel the whole 5 hours in one day. Stop off in State College, practice, grab food, and relax. The team has been to the title before, so I'm sure they know how to plan it out.
I agree that it is definitely smart on PSU's end and could be shenanigans... but still.
I hear you. It is right on the way and I'm sure 95% of the players were hyped to get on that field. Plus Fred Scruggs is committed to PSU.
Still... I know Franklin was blowing kisses at Bauer.
Lemming named Bauer the #8 overall LB in the country a spot ahead of Dax Hollifield. He was the #4 ILB behind Teradja Mitchell, IE Geoteote and PooPoo. Lemming had Bauer as the #90 overall recruit in '18.
PooPoo was #1 overall.
It's a shame an Irish Envy player isn't going to ND.
