That's true and all, but he has come on here multiple times claiming to have big information and it has not turned out to be accurate.

So has pretty much every recruitnick on this board. Info changes, man.

Either way, it doesn't give people the right to shit on him when he's not here to defend himself. If someone wants to debate the merit of his prediction with Gant, by all means. But just trading insults with a guy that can't respond seems mean spirited.

yeah kind of a low blow there dude, he was a respected and intelligent poster on here and his input will be missed.

Meh, he may be intelligent but he didn't have the ability to concisely communicate his thoughts. His incoherent ramblings added little to no value to the politics threads. I know many respected posters felt the same way.

So let's be real... you didn't like him because of his politics. I'm sure if those "ramblings" were conservative, you wouldn't probably be on here bashing him, no?

I mean, I agree with tussin. His ramblings were hard to follow, and I say that as a fellow rambler. It followed him everywhere, including in this thread. But I'd still rather have him on here

true enough, any of those political threads are about 10 conservative versus 1 or 2 liberal voices.

I'm absolutely conservative but I also #EmbraceDebate. There are many liberal-leaning posters on this board that contribute to making the discussion great, yourself included. IMO, he just wasn't one of them.

I don't know why that is needed. I like Bogs and he was a longstanding member of the board. He doesn't deserve that, especially when he isn't here to defend himself.

Also... mods correct me if I'm wrong, but there were other reasons outside of Gant that made him want to go, no?

His exit actually had nothing to do with Gant, as far as I know. We had a dialogue with him about his conduct in some of the politics threads, and eventually he made the decision to leave on his own.

As Decision Day Arrives, Dallas Gant Must Choose Between Catholic Draw or Home-State Power | Eleven Warriors

Well, this is not your father's Notre Dame, holding a significant advantage over its counterparts both academically and athletically. Ohio State can offer the same things off the field, especially with the effort Meyer puts into the widely respected Real Life Wednesdays program and can mold him into a first-round draft pick on it.

It's not like he left IE to go feed the poor in India. He made a stand on a topic, his stand was wrong, then he quit. We've seen this before from him.

Bogs himself would tell us those actions are the actions of psychopath, there was conflation, he intimately knows one of the main characters of the story, it's all nuanced and he (and only he) is the only one intelligent enough to understand, etc. etc. Except he would have taken 28 posts at 12 paragraphs a pop to tell us. And yet, here we are, regardless.

He ran away and quit like a little child. No need to defend his honor.

Evidently pOSU degree + having former players come in to talk to them about life after football (Real Life Wednesdays) = Notre Dame dgree.

Who knew?

Except for the pesky fact that Gant wasn't the only reason he left.

You just described every post Bogs ever made, regardless of topic.

You guys need to move the goal posts back to where they belong.

You will most likely get a better education at ND because you will be expected to be a real student as much as that is possible as an athlete at the DI level.

BUT

Some football player who graduated from OSU last year got a better education than some football player who graduated from ND last year.

So if Bogs is right, Gant will be that type of player. He'll graduate with a Finance degree and a 3.8 GPA while 5 guys from '18 class graduate with a film degree from ND.

Just saying.

Now when is the Gant decision???

I just read that it has come down to Ohio St and Notre Dame and he will decide between those two. How exciting! That's a 1 in 2 chance to get a 6-3 OLB who runs 4.84 40's.

I can hardly contain myself. Anywhays I'm gonna sit here and wait for the announcement.

Hey everyone... lets welcome our guest, Buckeyes who has come by to rejoice in his hard fought recruiting victory.

I hope when I grow up, I don't creep and troll other fan sites.

Anyways, Welcome Buckeyes. Enjoy your victory lap.

Just guessing, the school made him put the ND hat above the cross on the sign.
