I think Baptiste was brought in the be a starter level snap guy. I’d bet he’s getting 65%+ of snaps weekly.

I also think Ford would be a great fit at Big End in a 3 down.
So who should be vying for starter snaps now? Cross? Mills? Keanaina? Nana? Ford? Botelho? JJB? Rubio? That's without getting into some potential breakthrough players. I kind of enjoy this being our problem now, hoping we have elite talent emerge rather than worrying about filling out a 2-deep.

I’m exciting about Bunrham, Gobairo, and Vernon I wouldn’t be surprised if 2 of the 3 have huge years for us.

Very mature attitude based on that article. Said he's not after the flash and flair of a 2nd recruiting, wants to bring versatility to the line.

Good ballplayer. I like him.

And yeah as discussed on other threads you can see there how we're focused on containing Armstrong moreso than pressuring him. I usually hate the three-man rush but that's effectively a coverage sack, at a huge moment in the game when NC State could've tied it with a single play. When Armstrong couldn't find a throw, he wanted to run, but he had nowhere to go.

They aren't even trying to shed the blocks, they are just trying to NOT get locked up if you will, to contain Armstrong. There are a lot of folks who can't see that, and for them, I can't help.

He played great last night. But he needs to bring that same level of play and intensity in every game going forward.
Hoping this makes the team wake up to what effort & execution is expected and needed every down here on out. This team will be dangerous and make some noise if they do that.

He did. I don't recall even seeing Mensah out there.

On the other hand, was he the 11th man on the goal line at the end?

No, Baptiste was on the field, lined up on the end they didn't run towards. It was Botelho or whoever was supposed to be in instead of him who was missing.

Can’t believe he isn’t playing Warzone. People still play regular multiplayer?
