Maybe they see the ship is filling up. Love to see this kid on the squad. All these kids seem pretty tight together. Hope they got Allen on that group text asap and make him feel welcome! Also hope this class is full by Blue Gold game, they all get up there together and keep building on the relationships.

Yeah, he's been to ND before and sees that the staff isn't fooling around this cycle. Committing has to at least be in the back of his mind.

What do we see him as? If we're leading for Lenzy and we already have Gervin and Adams, how many more secondary guys are we taking?

We'll probably end up taking 5+ DB's in total. The real need is true CB's. Which would be Gervin and Griffith. So, say we add Griffith, I'd bet that you are looking at guys to fill the Rover spot, Shayne Simon, Allan Tisdale, etc. Then probably 1 more CB. Since we didn't add any CB's last cycle.

1b. Make a fast, strong run at Mario Goodrich of Kansas City, MO. Take commitment immediately.

If we end up getting a commitment, I'll be completely pulled back in. I fell out of ND football for a while because it was just too painful last year.
Too many close losses on the trail and on Saturdays. But the defensive hires and the recruiting momentum is unbelievable right now.
We better put a great product on the field this fall. And ND better give us a lot of content during spring practice to keep the hook set.

I don't think so. PSU and nd would both have 11 commitments, but they'd have two 5 stars and we wouldnt have any 5 stars.

Don't know too much about him but I did see that he did quite well at a recent Pylon 7 on 7 tourney and it was retweeted by Houston.

Adding Griffith to the current 10 commits would put ND 10 points behind PSU. Add just about anyone else on top of that though (e.g. Lenzy) and ND would be #1.

The more I think about this, the more I think Griffith doesn't commit anytime soon. He's at IMG which means unlimited weekend unofficials and all the attention/perks/swag that comes with being housed with 40 other P5 players. Why give up your bargaining chip?
