And that's why you never say 100% because you never know if the car they offer at the next visit will be his dream ride or not.
Sometime after NSD when he's locked up we need to revisit this thread and reveal why everyone thought this kid was Irish. It was more than flavor of the day feelings.

I blame Darius Walker. Walker should have hand delivered Turner to ND campus with signed letter of intent to ND.
Walker should go to his home town and show Turner what he did to Michigan his freshman year!

Wait until six months from now when Harbaugh cuts him loose for a guy higher on their board.
This happens a lot and it doesn't have anything to do with getting paid off or negative recruiting. Michigan's staff is working hard.
I really hope that Partridge guy moves on from there soon, though.

Why wouldn't I be serious? I wasn't super high on Turner although he would've been a nice addition. If he was telling the coaches/staff he was all Irish before going to Michigan and committing, let him deal with that mental schism.
Are people that high on Turner? I mean, maybe I'm missing something but I wasn't wow'd by his tape. He doesn't have breakaway speed and he just seems like most of the mid to low 4 star RBs.
This isn't a sour grapes thing. If I like a recruit's tape, I quickly post my thoughts in their thread. You can search Turner's and see I had nothing to say.
Maybe he'll make me regret these words.

The first thing I noticed with his tape was the lack of breakaway speed even though he has great feet in traffic. As others have mentioned in the thread, it would be nice to add a speed guy to pair with Markese Stepp.
I also wouldn't mind holding off until the season to try to attract an RB that's not currently on our radar. The running game could be special this year and our recruiting pitch will be much stronger if we've got a three headed monster of Adams, Dex and Tony Jones running roughshod all over teams.
