I'll bet money Austin isn't on the team next year.
MVP (best player) ........ Okwara
Most Important ............ The QB
Most Improved ............ Jay Ade
Most Surprising ............ Von McKinley
Newcomer OTY ............ Tommy Tremble
Freshman OTY ............. Derek Hamilton
Leader rushing ............. Jafar Armstrong
Leader receiving ........... Chase Claypool
Leader tackles .............. JOK
Leader INTs ................. Jalen Elliot
Leader Sacks ................ Okwara
Best Position Group ............................................ D Line
Worst Position Group .......................................... Kicking game
Most Improved Position Group over 2018 ............. O Line
Most Improved Position Group over the season ..... LB's or else
How huge is it that Javon McKinley unexpectedly stayed on the team, and is healthy taking meaningful #2 reps right now...
Calling Joe Wilkins, Joe Wilkins, your assistance is needed at the W.
Also, Micah Jones.... what gives, have heard next to nothing about him. Big body
Really thought Kevin was earning his way back on the field. Can he still practice with the team or is this a "He's separated from the team" sort of thing?

It sounds like Austin and the coaching staff knew this was a possibility (missing the whole year).
If he came to camp anyway, that's a good sign.
Besides, if he transfers, he's missing a year either way. So unless it's academic ineligibility, why not try to stick it out at ND?

I mean, he has a full year to plan out a transfer reason and he's from Florida. If he wants to play somewhere else in 2020, he will.
I know that, but if this didn't totally blindside him or make him feel like he got screwed, why transfer and learn a new system if you're going to be on the practice squad for a year anyway?
If he stays at ND and handles his business, he's walking into a starting job next year.
