Make sure you provide a link or you will be sent to Chile

Oh an actual link hey? I thought just stating where it was from was enough. I always make sure to not make word for word quotes either. Just a summary. Thanks for the heads up.

Nothing personal against anyone, but I think we're now getting a little carried away with the "sources" threat. He mentioned it was posted on 247. That should be sufficient, especially since he didn't re-post or quote verbatim the article.

How did we hold on to this guy? Dog shit season, coaching looks terrible, we go 4-8, Adebo hasn't visited since like December, and Texas just hired the Messiah. I'll squint whenever I see this thread bumped until Feb 4th or whatever it is.

UA AA I believe is still an ESPN game correct?

If still true I know ESPN loves his upside at WR. They think he could be a good CB, but an elite WR.

Remember UA AA and ESPN had Folston playing CB. I often wondering how Folstons career would have turned out being a DB. He did not have the elite speed of a RB, but he sure had the vision and jump cut ability.

Interesting about Folston. Didn't know that. He certainly never had break away speed. Was very elusive pre injury but didn't seem to trust his knee after. I could see him being a good corner or maybe nickel. We'll never know. Re Adebo, Two-way HS players seem to come with a few more intangibles often, especially DB's who played WR or QB in high school. They seem to sniff things out a little more naturally.

Why are you guys talking about Folston in the past tense? Is there some news out there I don't know about?

Academics are extremely important to him. I think it was said that Stanford would be the only school with a shot at pulling him, and he never wavered.

that is NOT what is being requested by the mods....regardless of where it was from, they want a link or embedded...they made an example of what is and not accepted and just stating it was on 247 wasn't good enough..

Just posted on 247. Adebo stated that he has been contacted by Texas, Baylor and other Texas schools lately but he tells them he's firm with ND and that nothing will change that. Adebo stated he speaks with Lyght daily and has recently been speaking to Elko. Interesting note : Adebo will be playing WR at UA AA but will be playing corner at ND.

GBDomer is right. If this is an article, then please post the link.

I thought it has already been determined that Folston will either grad transfer or enter the NFL draft.

Is this not the case anymore?

I thought that was all speculation. I don't remember seeing anything officially stating his intentions.

I'm aware. JMO, but I think we take this a little too far. I could see a concern if he was quoting an article, publishing a "subscription based" article or not giving credit to another site, but he didn't do that and did say "per 247".

We are making an effort to be sure that we are above any and all possibility of copyright infringement. Linking to content actually goes a long way towards protecting from that whole "blatant disregard" thing if someone were to come after us.

Also, and perhaps more importantly, it's a simple common courtesy to give authors/reporters their due via links and clicks when so many of us are benefitting from their work.

I'm being a little argumentative here, but I don't see this type of policing on non-football related threads. ;)

Also to the Folston comment a page back. He had posted a picture on Twitter saying he was leaving ND.

Its not sufficient though. Lax and the mods spelled out exactly what is expected. NDVancouver has already had a break because of this. GBDomer too.

That's because non-football sites aren't the ones contacting us when their premium info is posted here :)

IE isnt being directly contacted by the authors of CNN or Huffpost either.

I've been on this site for a long time. I've seen the reasons, explanations and understand all of that. Like I said, seems a little strong since he did mention where the info was posted and he didn't post their verbiage. Seems a little hypocritical, not to enforce it for other posts simply because this site hasn't been threatened yet. We do follow the law without being threatened by a policeman don't we?

I'm done. Thanks for letting me vent.

Hmm - I follow him. Don't remember seeing that.

I don't expect him back, but haven't seen anything confirming him leaving.

Lo siento, senors. I could have sworn I saw it in his thread but I checked and it was TH's post about leaving that I was thinking about.

I'd say the news of Adebo tearing it up at WR is more of a testament of how deadly his ball skills are and how deadly of an athlete he is more so than speculation that he'll be playing WR at ND. Reading that he talks to Lyght everyday makes me think he'll certainly be playing corner. If we don't pick up an X WR in this cycle and Adebo is interested in helping us out at WR, I suppose he may end up there. I'd much rather us continue stockpiling talent at DB considering our lack of pass rushers going forward.

He's quickly moving up the ranks as my favorite player in this class. He might have the most upside as well

Where is this news about him doing super well as a wide receiver? Is it somewhere in the two pages of bickering?

I'm at the point that he needs to see the field next year. He won't see the field next year sitting behind Love, Pride, Vaughn, Crawford and Watkins. But would probably see the field at WR.
