Worst decision this kid ever made was going to Michigan. I have no clue how smart people fall for that sales job, he was not a fit for their offense and the rationale for going there was absurd.

That's assuming it's smart people who are falling for Harbaugh's line of crap.

Okay, even taking all of that into account, it's still not an offensive system that supports 4 WR's in the same class.

It prominently features TE's and FB's on the regular, leaving room for 3 WR's to see regular PT, maybe 4 or 5 if there is an injury among the top 3 at some point in a season.

Combine limited reps in the first place with the fact that Crawford and McDoom are there in a class ahead of them, you suddenly have two (maybe three!) WR's in the same class all riding pine for 3 years.

If Harbaugh convinced these kids that they're gonna all get plenty of reps or that it would be worth it to wait until their JR year to get some shine, that's cool... but at the end of the day, two of those guys are going to be unhappy with how their careers at scUM shake out.

Damn I’m good

"Getting away from Harbaugh" should take care of the reasoning when requesting immediate eligibility.

Put some money on it now.....Chris Finke our walk on will our perform this little one. We can light him up opening day 2018 and welcome him to the jungle. Then Kelly can bust into his most muscular pose while standing over him...

This is amazing right here.

So is there still a love fest for DPJ? I mean, he's had a decent career so far but he was billed as a 5 star "must get" type WR. For comparison, both Will Fuller and ESB put up better Sophomore seasons than he has in both Freshman and Sophomore years.

He's as soft as they come. Nicco Collins is hands down the best WR on that team.

Michigan whole program soft as shit. Jim Harbaugh Stanford teams you never wanted to play them. ND would play Michigan in a dark alley this weekened and would take it to them.

Just remember entering the transfer portal doesn't mean you are completely gone. You can still return to your team. Although I don't know why you would since then your team mates will consider you a quitter or traitor or something.

Peters and someone else are still in the portal, with no destination set.

Yup on both accounts. Especially about Nico Collins. Other posters earlier in the thread were calling Collins a garbage WR. Like WTF he is clearly the best of the bunch and kid plays is heart out.

You guys are tough on Nico Collins, calling him garbage dang. Personally Collins might be the best of the bunch.

Uhm, for sure in the bold.

For starters, the dude was coming out of HS at 6'4" and 190lbs, and was a 94.00 rating (247).

Thrown into the mix late in fall camp as a starter after Black went down, and had a stat line of:

38 | 632 | 16.6 | 6.

That's not too shabby at all as a secondary option as a sophomore. He also caught that deep ball from Shea to open the second half against us in week one.

Here are Claypool's Jr. year numbers from last fall, for comparison...and I think we all agree Claypool is poised to ball out this fall.

50 | 639 | 12.8 | 4

Why not come to ND? Obviously a little crowded but I bet ND’d welcome him with open arms.

I remember we were so upset that he chose Michigan, thinking that it was the last chance of getting a great WR to join the '17 class. Good luck to the kid in the future, it's just so weird how some kids don't turn into the studs we think they'll be.

The school you choose can play a big factor...
