Are we talking about Aliz'e or Trump?
Looking forward to Aliz'e's book "What Happened" after this season if his production sucks.

Well to be fair....this time last year BK was hyping the living hell out of Alize....getting everyone jacked up on how productive he was going to be in 2017. Which did end up leading to a huge let down.
I wish they (Long and BK) just downplayed his spring and let events unfold without sky high expectations.
Sometimes it just takes time for a kid to "get" it. Some of these players want to move to the front of the line right out of high school but don't necessarily understand that they have to work to get there. Maybe he is finally starting to do the things necessary to be productive on the field. The talent is there... hopefully he understands how to use that talent to be a better player.

Our QB situation in game scenarios makes-or-breaks our season. Not Mack.
And he, too; looks great in practice. That’s why he will be the starter vs scUM. Book can’t match Wimbush in practice. It will have to tramslate on the field for the kid. If not...

I keep expecting this to be bad news
How is that not bad news? It confirms everything we have heard.
I think he's talking about suspension/transfer/etc.
(no one is surprised with his comments)
.... well if he didn't put out his best effort for his teammates, he sort of DOES owe them an apologetic excuse.
Will he be allowed a 5th year considering he sat out a year?
Unless he lights it up going forward he needs to come back. Right now he has reputation of dropping some routine passes.

He has dropped 2 fairly easy catches this season while every other receiver has dropped at least that many and in Fink's case (and Claypool's) a fair few more than that. Mack has caught a handful of really good catches as well.
I think the narrative that he is an underachiever is mainly based on him missing a season due to academics.

He’s basically a less consistant Eric Ebron in my opinion. I know Ebron went crazy his last year at NC, but when you compare them from a measurable and play type stand point that’s what I see.

Tbh I totally forgot he missed a season due to academics. It's because last year he dropped everything.
The timing of this post was terrific. Ebron went OFF last night, with a couple of drops to boot![]()
Haha I woke up and saw that as well. Luck sure likes to target him. Hopefully Mack can now go off as well this weekend!
You can always count on Eric for a drop or two no matter how well he plays lol.
I'm a Colts fan and I've been less than impressed with Ebron this year. I think Mack's play has improved with every game.
