Agree that fall ball is what actually matters, and I'm not giving myself a heart attack over it. But if AJ's academics haven't improved, he won't be eligible to practice in the spring. If they have improved, he will be. It's certainly an indicator.

Do you have any info supporting his academic issues are behind him and he's eligible? If not and your opinion is that he's good to go, your opinion is also oUT of your ass.

I'm simply saying I don't feel confident that anyone makes it back as easily as they hope after academic issues at nd.

He practiced and was on the scout team this year.

Aliz'e needs to get "dialed in" to his studies. If he's academically ineligible for the 2nd year in a row, these positive vibes aren't gonna do sh!t to fill the massive hole he'll be leaving in our receiving corps.

I'm still skeptical he's eligible. If I had to guess, he'll be out at least the spring. I base this on the fact there's been zero confirmation that he's cleared, when grades came in over a week ago. He's certainly not shy to tweet stuff, and he knows what he'd have to get to be eligible, and nothing.

I took a look at his timeline after seeing his other tweet - he's trying to fire everyone up and pushing that #TicToc mantra. This team lacked that kind of "vocal" leadership last year.

Maybe, this is a sign his academics are trending up who knows.

A positive comment directed towards CBK I thought was also interesting.

I have not heard anything saying he won't be eligible. Unless i missed something? So i have to give him the benefit of the doubt he will be eligible until i hear differently.

None of that is wrong, but the way I look at it is, this kid knows what class(es) he needs to raise his grade in, and grades are in. He's the most vocal kid on twitter I've probably ever followed, and has been silent about his eligibility after getting his fall grades back... And this is ND, where they make things as painful as possible on students, as evidenced by the frozen 5.

My guess is that he's not made the grade necessary and is sitting in appeal, hence the silence on his grades.
