Dude is taking full advantage of his opportunities:

Maybe should have been working on his tackling instead.

As tough as this seems. Tillery was shown as a soft person last year in the 'Showtime' debut. He has looked super soft since his time laying in bed acting like he earned the spot and he now acts like a sissy.

Jerry sure seemed to play well vs the Spartans. Not sure how him travelling equates to him being a sissy. Good for him, go anywhere when you have the opportunity. Alot of people in the US have never left their state. Does this hit home?

He earned his scholarship. They don't give those to just anyone. Don't begrudge a young man for using football to take advantage of greater opportunities. And, yeah, he played a hell of a game against Michigan State. Tillery's not high on our list of problems.

IMO the biggest issue here is strength and conditioning. He looks a little svelte for an interior lineman. I had hoped after being in a strength and conditioning program for 2 off seasons now he would not look like he plays basketball in the offseason. Mind you I don't think the issue is with Jerry alone, nor do I think it is his problem to solve.

Complete powder puff that should do the team a favor and go fulfill his real interests. Good luck to him...

Didn't look like a powder puff against MSU, and played okay against Duke.

Simmer down just a touch.

WTF is wrong with some of you? Tillery has had some bad moments and some good moments. He is still young, he can and probably will improve. Regardless, we sell ND as a special place as a 40 year decision, then a kid takes full advantage of what ND has to offer and fans begrudge him. Those that bemoan Jerry taking advantage of opportunities in his studies when he should be working on tackling just dont get it. I am very critical of the staff at times and think a change is necessary. I am ok with criticizing players to a point when they act like knuckleheads. I am critical of players still being on the field when they can not cut it. However, if you make malicious comments about a players makeup and call him things like a sissy because he missed some tackles you need to take a step back. Getting carried away can happen to all of us but if you can't step back and see the bigger picture you probably should not be a fan of this team, better yet not of college sports in general, if you want to tear down players all the time stick to the pros.

He's even one of the few on the D-Line who has shown to be able penetrate...he just hasn't wrapped up and tackled well when he does.

Tillary and Jarron Jones should share the lady byng trophy this year. Good to have such nice polite and easy going 5 star DL.

Watching teams like Duke destroy the middle of our defense is a damn disgrace

You all do realize that his best friend is Les' son right? I don't necessarily agree with him liking those posts, but for him it's about the Miles family not roasting on BK.

You do realize he liked a tweet that said "Brian Kelly's time at Notre Dame is done."

How about instead of worry about the coach you go out there and show on the field for more than two plays agame.

Too many of you miss the point. Dissension in the locker room is not good. Don't care if Les' son is his best friend. This is something you never do.

Regardless how we feel about him a player shouldn't do crap like this. Kid has underachieved and should worry about his level of play on the field. The team doesn't need players doing stuff like this.

Cleanse the cancer in the clubhouse. Guys like this want to mouth off, they can stay on the bench. Hopefully Kelly doesn't tolerate this crap and has a sit down with him. We need all hands on deck fighting for each other, not malcontents when the going gets tough. Life is full of adversity and it's important to learn how to handle the ups and downs that come your way.

I don't agree with his actions. But put your players and team in a better position to win and you don't have these issues.

Unfortunately, it's looking more and more that the "cancer" may be the HC.

I hate to be the one to tell Tillery...I don't think Les Miles would do any better at ND.
