They actually pulled the offer during his in home visit with Brian Ferentz. Pretty shitty to do this to a kid committed for a year and who took no other visits.

Pretty late for a team to pull a scholarship. That's pretty screwed up. This is why no one should care about kids taking other visits and decomitting from schools. Schools can be just as uncommitted.

I read he had a pretty tough senior year, and was even benched at times. But still, tough for me to swallow pulling a kids scholarship now, especially since he took no other visits and is presumedly in no other trouble besides being in a situation where Iowa took 3 QBs in a class a dropped the one who had the worst year late.

Stay classy Iowa.

He ended up transferring to Fenwick (my old high school) from Benet and had a really tough senior year. He ended up getting benched numerous times to a kid that a 3/4 star should have easily beaten out. I heard there might have been some disagreements with coaches/attitude problems as well.
