From a strictly physical standpoint this kid is the most impressive defensive tackle I've seen that ND is currently recruiting.

I like that he is upfront with when he will make his decision and knowing that he won't be a flip flopper.

Interesting fact: Nobody in Canada actually says the word "eh", except for the east-coasters.

Also, the word "about" is thought to be pronounced, in stereo-typical fashion, as "a-boot", when actually it is pronounced as "a-boat". But again, only the east-coasters pronounce it in such way.

Now that you are aware, you can go back to your regular sunday routine...

Do a lot of Canadians pronounce again like a-GAIN or is that just my history professor?

.

I respectfully disagree. One of my good friends married a girl from Brandon. Unless everyone at the wedding was doing it for our benefit, there was no shortage of eh's being thrown around.

News flash : there is a whole part of Canada where people speak a different language, French. And there is an even bigger part geographically where they speak native, indigenous languages.

About this young man. He seems very sharp, strong and secure. He seems very family oriented. And he seems to have a "council" put together, including family and coaching staff; that way he gets informed advice and advice from those that know him best and have his interest at heart.

The most interesting part of the interview was where he talked of his council helping select a college coaching staff. As if he already had an idea that the process was to see through the recruiting hype and pick the school that had the best family atmosphere. And if I am not mistaken I though he also said his council would also help him pick his final major, (realizing that what school he went to might affect that selection.)

All in all I think this kid is very sharp and would do well at ND. Less knowing if he is interested in moving to the NFL as soon as possible, this kid could be the right DT for the year. He has the potential, now is a matter for him to pick a direction, and refine it. (Hopefully his council will recognize how good the Kelly staff is at developing players!)

@bartonsimmons: New 4-star Neville Gallimore's recruitment is about to really heat up. He talks #irish, #Sooners, #OhioState Canadian DT Neville Gallimore earns top 40 ranking, FSU offer

Notre Dame - “That’s another powerhouse university. It has got a lot to bring to the table. That’s definitely one of the schools where a lot of players have gone through the program and have had a chance to go on to the next level and be successful on and of the field. When Coach (Mike) Elston offered me, I was excited. Definitely realized that just off the name it’s a program that brings a lot of hiype and also in terms of education they also have a great program in terms of that.”

I knew a Canadian in college, and the weirdest word for him was 'semi'. He pronounced it 'se-mee'.
