I was quietly optimistic the moment he decommitted. I was never worried about Bama. Always thought it was down to ND/UCLA. Great way to close.

The best part: EV, as great as he is, is really just the cherry on top. In past years we would have been desperate for a guy like him. Hopefully this trend will become the norm. Great class guys. High fives all around.

Vanderdoes headed a strong recruiting class for Placer High. At the same ceremony in the auditorium, golfer Hannah Gregg signed with Sonoma State, tight end Stone Sander signed with Sacramento State and quarterback Peter Denham with Northern Arizona
