The sky is the limit for him. Keep working on your craft EQ, hit the jug machines hard in the offseason.

Wow, didn't realize his stats were that nice. I questioned his toughness but he seemed to play through some shit this year. Will be a household name next year.

Where have you been? It was pretty easy to tell just a few games in he was our most dominant receiver and Kizer's go-to-guy.

Bonafide stud and playmaker.

He's a rare breed that may have more raw talent than Shark, Floyd, or Fuller.

He reminds me more of a Demaryius Thomas type...Or a young Brandon Marshall. He'll put on 15lbs when all is said and done.

According to his Dad, he would have already put on the 15 lbs. if he had gone to Stanford.

I was at the local nutrition store and saw this picture on the wall. Interesting. I'm getting ready to do a cycle, might try it out just because.

PROFESSIONAL BODYBUILDER

Mr. Universe II & Mr. World III Bodybuilding Champion
1john.jpg

My name is John Brown. As a professional body builder and former Mr. Universe II and Mr. World III Body Building Champion, I understand the importance of protein intake and what is takes to build muscle.

Early on I realized that my son Amon-ra St. Brown were not able to eat enough protein per day in their daily meals to stay up with amount of energy that they were burning per day. I knew I had to do something early on to assist with their protein intake. In additional to a good weight lifting program. I developed my own protein to help with maximum muscle growth and strength, so that you will be able to dominate your competitors. My Product is a blend of protein that I developed for my son that I am now sharing with the world.

“Remember Athletes must use there muscle to serve their intelligence.”

and now we know why Amon-Ra is considered the best out of the three. Looks like he is the only one with a custom protein intake.

Sorry for the random, scary bump.

Walter Football has him mocked to Detroit in the first round of the 2018 Draft.

He's got the size to be a #1. This season will be telling as to what he can be in the NFL. He already got the size and speed, let's see if he can run consistently crisp routes. If he can, he can be a #1 in the NFL

VERY interesting read (longer than most links FYI) regarding recruiting consulting services and in this case, Greg Hoyd, his Playing for Envelopes.com company in Orange Co. and the connection to ESB's dad, John Brown.

Inside the unregulated world of recruiting consulting services – Orange County Register

HIGH-PROFILE RECOMMENDATION

Equanimeous St. Brown was in the eighth grade when his father, John Brown, first felt a creeping sense of anxiety about his son’s recruitment. “I was like a deer in the headlights,” says Brown, a former bodybuilder who was twice named Mr. Universe. But a friend he’d met years ago through Pop Warner offered to show him the ropes.

Since, Greg Hoyd has worked with each of Brown’s three sons, Equanimeous, Osiris, and Amon-Ra St. Brown — all of whom are now elite receiver recruits, with piles of high-profile offers and an evergreen presence on Playing for Envelopes’ social media feeds.

The St. Browns, it seems, are exactly the type of prospects who wouldn’t need a recruiting service. They are household names, coveted by powerhouse football programs. Brown’s phone has “every coach in America’s cell number,” he says.

So why affiliate themselves with any recruiting service?

“People tell me now, ‘You don’t need Greg,’” Brown says. “He got the ball rolling for all three of my sons. When Equanimeous was a junior, did he need Greg? No. When Osiris was a junior, did he need Greg? No. When Amon was a junior, did he need Greg? No. Because the ball was rolling. But who got the ball rolling?”

In return, Brown has played a supporting role in Playing for Envelopes’ rise in Orange County. The majority of parents who spoke to the Register said they were either directly referred by Brown or signed up only after Brown offered his support of Hoyd. On a few occasions, Brown tagged along while Hoyd gave his sales pitch. “I took what (Hoyd) said as legitimate because of John,” Eli Ginnis says.

Several parents have since approached Brown to voice their dissatisfaction.

“Take my word for it: These parents are crazy,” Brown says. “Now, is Greg doing something wrong? I mean, I’m not there. I’m sure he’s not perfect. But at the end of the day, this is what it comes down to: They didn’t get scholarships. If they got scholarships, they wouldn’t be unhappy.”

Part of the problem is the parents who can't evaluate talent and think their kid is better than they really are. However, these type services should be able to evaluate talent and refuse to take on a kid if they aren't good enough, but those services aren't going to turn away a paying customer.

Part of the problem out west is there aren't enough schools with football programs to keep the dream going. Indiana has 20 four year schools that have collegiate football at the NAIA level and higher. California has 22, Oregon 7, Utah 6, Arizona 3, Nevada just 2.

Somebody might have told that to the family who moved from Chicago to California so he could play at Mater Dei in the hopes of getting a D1 scholarship. Though that kid apparently wound up going to Amherst, which - scholarship or no - will probably set him up better in life than being a backup RB at Nevada or Oregon State.

Yeah, how about that. Amazing how dumb smart people can be.

Would have never guessed that, given the population of Cali.

The broker isn't going to say anything because they want your money, but to me this again goes back to parents who view their kids talents more favorably through rose colored glasses, then through reality.

With how the season is playing out for him so far (under 100 yards through 3 games), does anyone think that he is more likely to stay for his senior year than enter the draft?

It seemed like a certainty that he would be gone after this year before the season but I can't see him leave if he gets under 700 yards.

If Wimbush doesn't get better, He's gone because I imagine we'd only win at the most 6 games. Scouts will recognize his talent and how his qb held him back and get drafted in a decent round.

He would go undrafted. Great kid but he would get bullied beyond belief on Sunday. All I see is Chris Brown light right now. Hopefully he puts it all together and has a great career.
