The ISD and II podcasts I've listened to this week both included him in their discussions around next year's rotations, and he didn't hire an agent so he should be back unless he pulls a surprise (to me) transfer.

Really excited about his potential this year. Last year he seemed to wear down, to some degree, as the season wore on. Which gave more snaps for Pride. Apparently, so far this spring, he is by far the best cover corner on the roster right now. Multiple practices where he’s locking down everyone he gets matched up with.

That is good news.

5 real good corners and that's not counting Houston and any other freshmen.

I'm in the minority, but I would really like to see Love slide to safety since the depth at corner is good.

Love is a starting corner, a freshman AA, you don't move him

Not sure if he's the highest, but he's certainly up there. Unless S is a complete cluster F in fall camp, you don't move Love.

This is what I'm afraid of.

But there is no reason to be concerned about that now. By all accounts the S's are playing much better than they have in the last two years and this is the first Spring for guys like Alohi Gilman and Griffith. Zero reason to take your best CB and move him to S, for Spring practice, versus giving those reps to players who are ascending and need those reps.

In the GT era it appears sometimes you don't start your best two, you start the two that keep your best 3 on the roster.

Jay Hayes doesn't hurt ya, this does. Could of said they were starting the senior and just rotated everyone. It's not like Troy Pride was going to transfer if he wasn't the starter.
