Incorrect? That I would start a 5th yr Sr. that has played as well as and better than the rising Jr has through this spring's practices? If you guys are under the assumption Pride has completely distanced himself from Watkins you are in complete disagreement with those who've watched spring practice... Some even said he was the best corner. Yeah, I'm old school. I start my Sr. if it's close and then give the underclassmen the snaps they earn.

I’m not guessing, my info is about as close to the situation as it gets. Best of luck to Nick, he’s still ND family and very well liked. Nothing has changed in that regard, he just made a decision that’s best for his career. ND will be ok, it doesn’t change much.

Best of luck to Nick at Houston. He was a solid CB for us, they got a good one.

I'm excited to see what Julian Love and Troy Pride can do opposite one another this fall, though. Love's instincts and Pride's speed make an intriguing CB tandem.

I watched parts of the Rice/Houston game, from what I saw, he’s their nickel back. Houston has two experienced corners on the boundary and field side, but he still received a fair amount of snaps at nickel.

Yeah, that hurts. He could've easily been a valuable piece this year but he couldn't see it thru and/or didn't trust the coaches.
