You sorry chumps will have to prove just how bad you think you are a week from this Sunday in Chicago. Bears just lost both All Pro guards, #1 WR (joining #2 WR), QB (yay! He gone! - but leaves us with suck azz 3rd stringer) and our #1 draft pick got carted off the field strapped to a backboard. We are totally going to underscore your weak azzes!

So shut up and bring your D game. You're gonna need it!

The same mock draft had Chicago taking Mitch Trubisky(??) from North Carolina lol

What's the lol? I'd take him over all the other QB's right now. Bears will take Garret or Allen at #2. I agree with that.

Grab Corey Davis or Juju Smith at the top of Round 2 and the best QB that falls to the top of the 3rd:

DeShaun Watson (probably gone)
Davis Webb
Patrick Mahomes
Mason Rudolph
Luke Falk
Brad Kaaya

Why surprised at Trubisky? He is the hottest WB prospect at the moment. He is Mel Kiper's top rated QB. Not to mention Sherm called it months ago that Trubisky would be a big time pro prospect.

Called it two years ago when the Malik vs Golson stuff was happening. Beat MZ out for Mr. Football. Hell, even jojo likes the kid.

Totally agree. All the hype happened during the Texas game for him, but we all see how Texas turned out. Meant nothing. He's regressed throughout the season.

BOOM! Come back & develop or suffer a short sub-mediocre career.

Idk about the rest of you, but I have a weird feeling that he will be back next season. I think it will be a much needed extra year in college football for him. He was good in the first half of the season but really dropped off in the second half, IMO. So much of a drop off that he might have played himself out of a first round pick; if you're not a guaranteed first round pick, leaving early is a really bad decision if you ask me (unless you already got your degree).

Having 10/11 starters on offense back in 2017 would be a great start for Kelly as he is now coaching to keep his job.

Possibly, but the NFL is known for taking QB's that have great potential and trying to develop them. Kizer has all of the physical traits the NFL loves.

Part of me wants him back because you know what he can do at times and you hope he would come back that much better after this year's trials and tribulations, however, I don't want to see another QB situation like we saw this year. I believe in my gut there was tension between DK and MZ and it was one of the many plot twists contributing to the dumpster fire on the field this year.

Thats where i'm at. Kelly needs to anoint him the starter and that be that. I think at times he played not to screw up. Which usually leads to screwing up. I blame Kelly for that. You don't see Urban chewing Barrett's ass for every little mistake.

Kelly acts like Kizer or any QB he's had here for that matter, isn't aware that they threw an interception and he needs to tell them about it for 15min and threaten to put in the back up. To me its demoralizing.

I'm on the fence to him going to the NFL, he is a borderline first round pick and granted the teams needing QB's in the NFL this year I don't see how he doesn't get picked up. Part of me also believes that Wimbush is better than Kizer, he might not have the experience yet, but he can throw it farther and is a better runner. Haven't had a chance to see how accurate he is. Also, if Kizer does come back he isn't guranteed to beat out Wimbush? and if Wimbush isn't the QB he isn't guranteed to stick around. Guys on the team seem to be in the know, just look at Alize Jones on social media Tic Tok, some of these guys want Wimbush to be the guy.

Agree. My biggest fear is if DK comes back what kind of mess are we dealing with in terms of Wimbush? Will he be happy to sit another year? Will he be given a legit chance to start? Will we have two QB's playing in the opener? I hope BK has learned his lesson.

Classic set up for a big draft day drop, definitely not a lottery pick, IMO. Would need to season on the bench for a year or two and anyone drafting top 10 isn't going to be able to wait that long.

If he doesn't think he can be great - go early and get your check. If he wants to be an NFL starter - stick around another year and season in the trenches.

the QB class is tremendously shallow this year though, it makes sense for him to go pro now and get picked pretty high.

My thoughts exactly.
I know he's got all the tools, but he's just not mentally ready yet.

You guys overestimate NFL GMs. Someone will fall in love with his physical traits, still a Top 10 pick IMO.

I can see the Bears taking Kizer in the first round, they need a QB bad. Cutler may be around next year which isn't a bad thing Kizer can learn for a year under him, or most likely Cutler gets hurt and Kizer plays a lot.

Agree with all of the above - Seems he is being set up to get drafted by a QB desperate team (albeit a high pick) and flame out quickly as he is nowhere close to being ready to start in the NFL.

Dance in the pocket for five seconds on Sunday and you are more likely to end up in a body bag than the HOF.

Which cuts to the core of my fears. Bears commit to another QB that has the tools but at the end of the day is a loser.

On one hand, I think it's insane to think we're better off without a possible 1st round draft pick with 2 year's experience. On the other, I'm so over Kizer and his innaccuracies, poor body language, and not seeing the field/open receivers. And Wimbush, I just have a feeling about him. I think he's going to be wildly exciting to watch, play with fun and passion, and inspire everyone around him.

I don't know if we're better with him/without him, so I guess I'm indifferent. I hope he gets whatever he wants.

I would like to move on with the Coach and the QB, but for motivational reasons--not talent or scheme reasons.

Sounds a lot like Zaire, Golson, Rees...

While I agree...I can also see him having a long day in the green room after getting an early first round grade.

He regressed big time

Kizer hasn't regressed, he just didn't take as big of a leap as we were expecting. His interceptions were down and his touchdowns were up, with an increased load on his shoulders. He's not ready a la Andrew Luck, but if in the right situation, he'll be effective.

I saw 2 up to date mock drafts yesterday, 1 had him going to the Bears at 3, Watson at 2 to SF, the other only had the kid from UNC as a 1st rounder, and 1st overall pick at that. That mock draft had Peppers to Bears at 4 spot.. One can dream on that scenario!
