Wow. Great point. Never thought of that. Definitely best win for Pitt, even if they beat Miami. If UM loses to O$U (more like when), then yes. If OU loses to Oklahoma State, then yes.
What's even more impressive about that? We are a non-conference game.

No, unless he has changed his policy. I believe a TE now at Oregon whose name escapes me took a visit and his scholarship was pulled.

No. He has a firm no visit policy. If you take visits, we will treat you as no longer committed. I don't know if the policy was he would pull a kids offer or not. Of course I'm guessing the greatest no visit policy in the world would get thrown out by Hoke if a 5 star like Peppers wants to take visits while your program is reeling.

His scholarship was "pulled" but since he was at the top of their board and they hadn't recruited another he was basically given another offer when he wanted back into the fold.

The policy doesn't mean jack squat. He "pulled" Dawson's scholly last year when he visited UF only to give it right back to him.
