Elam has an awful lot of work to do in the classroom for ND to even be a real option... we're probably going to strike out on NT in this class.

It's funny hearing people cringe at ND selling playing time over competition. ND is smart to sell the " you could start right away," angle. The fact is we DO NOT have any competition for him right now, so we cant sell that!!!

Personally, both work. You develop by playing and you develop by practicing. And it's often out of your control. Jaylon Smith came in to a rotation behind two quality upperclassmen and is starting anyway due to talent and injuries.

The real question is, do you love to play? He is going to get drafted high wherever you go!

Yup. Big bummer. Always said more to watch out for them than Kentucky. Disappointed we couldn't close here, but he was more of an important prospect out of necessity than actual talent. Hopefully some comparable DTs will pop up for us.

Marcus Griffin, Kammy Delp, or even Smallwood. Griffin seems like a no brained to offer. Kammy Delps senior film is much better, IMO than his junior film. His body is starting to come together.

Not sure where the mix up is. I said this probably doesn't bode well for sending out new offers for NG's. As in we haven't offered these players yet. As in Griffin, Delp, Smallwood.

I hate it when they ramp up the love. They should have been pouring it on from the start. You know UK & UA will be telling him that if we really wanted him the love would have been there from the beginning.
