He's having second thoughts even though we're 5-0?
Maybe we should start losing.

RI has discovered the MATRIX ripple...send in the agents to get him!
Fellas...hello. Former member of IrishIlllustrated. No more of that site.
I love this board and am glad it is here. I received this email from BlueandGold...provides some insight. This kid is all but gone. Sad but it happens. I am not a member so I am not posting anything premium. This is an email basically providing enough to try to get me to join since I am looking for a new site. Good to say hello to everyone....

Irish Top50 linebacker commit Alex Anzalone of Reading (Pa.) Wyomissing grew up rooting for Florida - considering his father, Sal, went to school there and he has family in the area - and admits that he'll always be a Gators fan regardless of his college decision.
After committing to Ohio State earlier in the process following its spring game, later decommitting and then choosing the Irish after a trip back to campus, naturally Irish fans were concerned when BlueandGold.com learned over the summer that he showed up for Friday Night Lights in Gainesville. He told us the morning of the event that he went to compete because he had a ride from Orlando for the Gridiron Kings event, and left it at that.
Things had simmered until Tunnel Vision reported some time back that the Florida-LSU game was in Anzalone's sights for an official visit, and that buzz continued as he later reported to BlueandGold.com that he "didn't know" if he was going to follow through with the visit. He decided to go on the trip on his own dime as an unofficial visit, and maintained that he was headed down purely as a fan.
Based on reports from GatorBait (247Sports' Florida affiliate), Anzalone did just that as he showed up at the game in Gators apparel, did the 'Gator Chomp' after a touchdown and led an 'orange and blue' cheer in the second half during the 14-6 victory for Florida over LSU. GatorBait went on to report that Anzalone, who plans to enroll early, had began sending in paperwork to Florida in an effort to have that process complete if he opted to switch to the Gators.
The most recent report was that several commits inside of the Swamp at the game felt that Anzalone would flip after talking to him about his gameday experience, but those are also the thoughts of other prospects. And Florida is feeling confident that they'll be able to continue working on the Pennsylvania native to get him to change his mind one more time in its favor.
On the Notre Dame side, however, Anzalone told BlueandGold.com prior to making the trip to Gainesville that the Irish had requested that he didn't do any interviews, and he complied - still following the suggestion by the coaches after not being on record about the trip. Tunnel Vision was told that Anzalone still has plans to make the trip back to South Bend for the BYU game on Oct. 20, which he'll have his meeting with admissions to take another step in the early enrollment process, and it was a strong sign heading into his Florida visit that he wouldn't make any rash decisions that weekend based on emotion.
Doesn't tell us anything we don't already know and doesn't mean to me that "he gone." Also hope that isn't premium info.

Welcome.
Thanks for sharing...more insight is good.
Hello but the only way to get a full Irish welcome is to commit to Irish envy and sing your LOI.Fellas...hello. Former member of IrishIlllustrated. No more of that site.

lol, I hate to blow up your first post, irishfan2k5, but you've been had.
247 always does this ... they send out a portion of Tunnel Vision to entice people to join, but it's always edited to leave out the choicest bits of info and to give you quite the opposite impression that the full version of Tunnel Vision gives. Last week Irishman77 fell for the same trick ... they sent a teaser about Altee Tenpenney that made it sound like he was back in the picture, but the full version of Tunnel Vision made it clear that Tenpenney is most likely to remain with 'Bama. See the posts from earlier today about today's Tunnel Vision ... Anzalone is still a serious flight risk, but the latest is that he is starting to remember why he wanted to be Irish in the first place and that we have as good a shot at him as UF if we keep fighting and impress him again when he visits next weekend.
Cool to meet you Emcee....I appreciate you watching out for info stealers but if you read my post, I stated the material posted was info emailed to me by Blue and Gold in attempts to entice me to purchase a membership.
I have read elsewhere that AA is interested in playing TE, which FL can offer and ND can't with Heurmann. I hope the chemistry the recruits have built amongst each other can keep him.
No no. He got it. What he is saying is that what they emailed to you was a portion of a larger piece that was posted behind their paywall (and I took that piece to lean slightly positive).
Solid first post. Will read again. What is the issue here? Sounds hypocritical to me. So ND staff is hosting players committed elsewhere (Stanford this weekend) & won't allow a kid to go to a game at his parents alma mater & visit his grandparents? The plane tickets down to Florida was his mother's birthday present. Someone doesn't have the whole story.

kids back from decommitments. They've got kids that have enrolled elsewhere and came back. I think its reactionary to assume this kid is gone. On the other hand, he's clearly the most "up in the air" of all of our current commits. He's a very good player, but he isn't the lynchpin of the class.
Anyone who fills out paperwork to EE at another school while committed to a different school is anything but solid.

I hope it does too. I hate when people speculate about these kids. Everyone should know that these kids are the first ones to read these blogs. When they go off on a negative tangent it does taint their opinion of the fan base. I would try to keep things positive unless I wanted a 17 year old to get upset while this should be the most exciting time of their life. Funny how most of the people on these blogs never competed at this level. Opinions are like belly buttons....everyone's got one.
