This is where uab is reporting that he died.

The AP has reported that he has died, see here (USA Today) and here (Yahoo). As far as I know this has not been confirmed by other sources.

If true it is absolutely appalling and tragic. I got to know him slightly because I sat next to him in an undergrad class I took his last year at ND. He was very friendly and always came to class.

Dear heavenly father. I am praying for strength and peace for Greg'sfamily and friends who are hurting right now. I pray that he gets through this and that when he wakes up his body will be healed and that he turns to you Lord.

Strange that they say the incorrect report of his passing came from his family, and they were given the OK to release.

Better than the worst possible scenario but still. Damn, I hate it. Damn, damn, damn. I was rooting for this young man so hard, even after he left ND. He wanted to escape "the life" and it appears it still caught up with him. There are people that don't even try to improve themselves and they make it into their 30s, 40s, 50s.

I don't pretend to understand God's plan but sometimes it doesn't always make sense. You just have to have faith that He knows what He's doing. My heart still weeps for Greg and his loved ones though.

Even for a scUM fan, that is despicable and uncalled for. Let's see you have a loved one shot, in critical condition and then have someone laugh at you for it. It's hard to look worse than the typical scUM fan, but he managed to pull it off.

That was not God's plan. God did not shoot Greg nor did he have someone else do it.
