I could see Koon having prepared a lengthy post over the last several months, responding to various references to him on the forums during his captivity. As soon as the door opens he'll post it, like a deluge of Koon coming down on us as we're hitting the field for Texas. Bring an umbrella.

koon is just a passionate fan like the rest of us...he just gets a lil carried away sometimes...i do NOT find him to be anywhere close as bad as he seems to be made out...idk i only really skim through posts to find actual info and don't get into any real dialogue/banter w/ people unless i am posting info or looking for actual info...he did something for me which was completely not asked for but did it out of kindness so he is absolutely fine in my book

+1 Koon is a good guy and he takes a lot of heat (some deserved). I'll be happy to have him back, he adds a different presence to this place. It certainly helps keep things light, usually.

What an asinine tweet!!

"kicked out of" what? Bryant is ineligible, not expelled or even suspended!

He must have been referring to his physique, because "huge" isn't the right word to use in describing GB's contributions so far.

So much for that lip service he gave on Instagram a few days ago. Peace Greg, good luck to you.

This is good news for him, honestly. He never was a right fit and now he can start from the bottom. I wish him the best, he is a great RB.

He can still come back to ND. This in no way prevents Bryant from returning to South Bend next semester or next season. He'll technically have to transfer back in.

But who knows, he may dominate at his new school and receive offers from big-time programs, his planned course of returning to ND in 2016 may change.

To me, this can be taken two ways

1) Won't return to Notre Dame...ever

2) Won't return to Notre Dame this year since he is enrolling in JUCO

Since his dad seemed pretty adamant about him returning to ND and getting his degree, could the latter be the correct interpretation? Thoughts?

Has to stay a whole year at JUCO, so no shot at returning to ND in the spring. I could see him having a monster year in JUCO and testing the NFL, or hitting one of the DI factories for a year.

You know, those are great sentiments to post on Instagram and I hope everything works out for the kid.

But, posting pics w/ motivational captions is a lot easier than actually busting your ass.

Show me.

Huh.

So this is a Montana Sent Down To the Minors to get some PT?

Transfer might be an option but he'd be trying to come in as an upperclassmen at ND. Will he have the necessary NCAA coursework completed toward graduation to be eligible in '16 if ND did accept him?
