I find that hard to believe, I don't believe it one bit, why would anyone ever believe someone that posts on these types of sites?

I'm happy this site doesn't have one of those guys.

I would be very surprised if he cancelled the trip to Alabama. It seems pretty clear that EV decommitted with the explicit intention of examining his options first hand. Before his Notre Dame visit I expected him to visit Alabama and I would be very surprised if he were to deviate from that plan...regardless of how welll the ND trip went.

I heard from a Miami insider that they feel Thomas will stay in Miami.

USC "insiders" in this cycle have been pretty delusional/wrong all the time. Why? Because they're used to closing well with every single kid they're in with late. Historically their batting average is darn near perfect. And they have two of the best "I won't take no for an answer" coaches in the country.

The fact that they think BOTH EV and Robinson are coming to LA much less Thomas just proves this point. Hell, I guess it's possible they could get them all... anything is possible. But it's not likely. What about all of the guys like Jalen Ramsey that are wavering heavily? They already had to fight tooth and nail (and pull some black magic) to get Hatcher back... and they're recruiting the hell out of Ty Isaac because they are flat out scared.

They probably close the class with a couple really good prospects. I'm almost positive of that. They very well might land EV... a ton can happen in a week. But there is no way in hell this guy (or really any "source" for any team) knows anything with any degree of certitude right now what is going on or where things stand. Take everything you read with a grain of salt... good or bad.

Just chill for a week and cross your fingers.

No they don't. No one has the kind of certainty that some of these predictors express. They play the odds. And that was a good point. The odds used to favor USC.

For EV I'm not as worried about Bama as I was earlier. His mom isn't visiting and it's a known fact that Saban loves to swoon the mothers. His grandpa going might just be for the opportunity to see a major program from behind the scenes.

He has also referenced academics several times. I wonder which school had the edge there?

Seriously... Mathew Thomas to USC? Everything Lax said is spot on. All the SC insiders have been very far off all year.

Speaking of fans that are off, forget SC, have you read the last page of this thread?

Do not underestimate anything about Alabama or Mr. Saban. There are plenty of good things about Alabama the state, and the university. And I am getting pretty tired of the inbred references, especially when they are related as an ND recruiting advantage. I think the truth is all anyone can say about areas of Alabama is that they are very rural. And before anyone talks, ND is in Indiana, right? Ever been to Southern Indiana?

The main reason for cutting it out is it is so much simpler to act with class and decorum up front. That way you don't have to act out of embarrassment when someone you have identified as "inferior" hands it to you.
