not too worried if we miss out on some of the remaining guys on our radar. yes it stinks losing coaches had a negative effect down the stretch, but i prefer holding on to those extra schollies giving them to 5th year guys and go hard after the loaded 2013 class rather than offering guys we were not high on. O line is very heavy in 2013 and even though it stinks we missed out on garnett and the others listed, a fresh batch in 2013 will help.

glass half full mentality maybe

Yes, I am feeling very pessimistic about the remaining class. Decker, Darby, Poole, Banner, Neal, etc. Doesn't look promising.

At the very least, we're likely to finish this class with Standifer and Ekanem. That would likely move us up to the 4th ranked class on 247. And after all the recruiting heroics this staff has pulled off over the last year or so, odds are good that we'll get at least one more big fish.

But I can totally understand your pessimism.

If we land Cox though, that could potentially free up another recruit to move to CB

Getting Cox as a FS would free up Prosise to move to CB. That would improve our DB depth chart considerably.

True. I'm disappointed we couldn't land another O lineman, but there are no immediate depth issues there so if we have a good OL class next year we will be fine.

According to WA OL Josh Garnett, he still hasn't made up his mind between #Michigan and #Stanford, announcement at 3:00 PST Thursday

If Twitter is any indication, the choice is definitely Michigan. He tweets at Magnuson 24/7

“I still don’t know. I’m serious, I don’t,” Garnett said. “I have two great choices in Michigan and Stanford, and I’m still trying to figure out where the best fit for me is. Honestly they’re even in so many ways, both have great football programs and are great academically.

“I have great relationships with the players at both schools and the coaches. I like the system at both schools, and I like the opportunity to play early and make an impact. I’m just going to pray on tonight and hopefully when I wake up in the morning, it will be crystal clear and I’ll be able to make my decision.”

This is why we have to get 5 stars b/c we play USC, Michigan, Stanford get some great kids...

USC kills me we try to get ahead of them, and it seems they get a class of elite talent every yr., and we get 4/5 elite guys so it's always a uphill battle with those guys...

Anyone listen to the podcast? It's killer.

Its really not that great guys...

Hes still not Irish.

There can be no victory in that, regardless of how awesome Michigan's OL class has evolved and how much better it would have been with this kid...

The result will still be the same: He's going to get blown-up by Lynch, Tuitt, or Irish Chocolate in just a few years.

The reason why its great is b/c he chose Stanford over Michigan, im sure we all were over Garnett. Can't we rejoice in Michigans pain?

As a former O-lineman, I think this kid is the REAL DEAL....I much rather have him at Stanfod then scUM.

Good grab for the Tree. That's what developing first round draft picks on the OL will do for you.

ann arbor buddy is super pissed right now...thought he was in the bag, loving his anguish like he loves mine in our times of defeat.

i'm going to enjoy this one even though we gotta play him four times.
