Came back from Lunch and against my better judgement, I opened this thread up.

So...waking up to texts and tweets from TP about Tee leaving is like waking up to "money missing off the dresser and your daughter is knocked up."

This may have just set us back a year.

Really a shame because I thought Tee was going to be truly something special. Hope everything works out for him.

We need about 3 stud corners this year at least.

Recruiting is such an effing joke. These kids are so pampered, indecisive, and honestly stupid that it makes me furious.

I really don't care where they go to school, but commit and stick to it. Such an embarrassment on so many levels...

No doubt he had mad talent, but not sure his attitude really fit with the ND mold. Swag is one thing, this was more.

Hope he can figure things out.

So I am going to ask the question I think others might be thinking about.

He isn't going to sit out a year and then go to U$C, is he?

IMO this is an ignorant comment. You don't know what the circumstances were for him to leave.

JUST MY OPINION...but that is where i see him heading!..he was back and fourth thinking about commiting there...why wouldn't he go there now?

USC would have to cut another player off the team to make room.

I can definitely see it happening but might not be the most likely scenario.

If there was one player in that class we could ill afford to lose, it sure was Tee. Really makes me wonder about why he decided to leave, this makes for a very interesting story, unfortunately. This is something you can't control as a fan so I wont start getting furious and let this ruin my faith in this season, but it sure is frustrating.

Very disappointed yes, but not knowing his reasoning i will not pass judgement quite yet.

Attention all current Db's in South Bend!!!!! time to step up and show why you're here..... Don't let this situation weigh on you...time to grab the spot.

With Amir coming, Tee going, I can envision a few changes in strategy. Wood/Amir at RB. Riddick/Attickson to slot, or at least splitting time at RB/slot. I can see Amir splitting time too. Neal at CB/PR/KR. I'd rather have Neal on O, but the existing DBs have to step up, and just pure depth may require it.

I would guess that Slaugter moves to corner(I think thats his natural position) and Josh Atkinson would be our other starting corner. Thats not bad if you ask me, a good fron 7(which we have) will make any secondary look good. Calm down guys, this stuff happens. Now go watch some March Madness

4 CB's on scholarship is terrible and really none of them have much experience. I'll close my eyes each time a deep ball is thrown this year.

Slaughter can't move to corner because he is their best safety.

It is nice to read a thread like this, with all the in depth posts, and realize, (other than Terry), no one else knows anything.

Slaughter came in as a corner. Slaughter could be moved to corner out of necessity. That would leave Motta, McCarthy and Collinsworth in a three man rotation at safety, with youngsters Badger and Hardy as depth.

In all honesty, from my interactions with him, he seemed like an awesome guy, but seemed very alone. Felt bad for him, can't be easy for anyone to start school in the middle of the winter in the middle of Indiana, and on top of that Tee practically got abandoned by his cousin. Wish he was Irish, but life goes on.

Nobody gives Lo Wood any credit, but who was the only corner with a pick-6 last year?
