Always nice when the player and/or family writes a great letter when transferring. This has to calm the concerns of recruits who are wondering why the hell all of the 5-star guys are leaving ND.

Kid always had the talent to be a playmaker. We unfortunately didn't get to enjoy much of it, but that highlight was a sample of what I was hoping for when he faxed his LOI.

I still would've liked to see him get more snaps on offense while he was at ND. Freshman or not, sometimes you have to take a risk on a kid that has his kind of ability. Too bad it didn't work out for ND in the end.

He was the one recruit from that class that I wanted at ND. ND signed him. I was ecstatic. Then he left. Sad face.
