Honestly hate to defend the douchebag, but I read a little about this… sounds like he may have made some powerful people mad, and they’re pulling govt strings to go after him for reporting on Tucker Carlson and dragging Fox through the mud for the Kanye thing.

Fox and Co. aren’t happy that someone shared internal files with him.

Only funny part is his lawyer saying Burke found the stream being broadcast live on the internet, while Fox says it came from a private internal stream that required a login.

It’s a muddy area where the judicial is gonna decide the legality of people sharing usernames and passwords with each other.

There's very likely something that the employee signed forbidding sharing internal logins. The Cardinals/Astros scandal from years ago led to jail time for a Cardinals scout because Jeff Luhnow kept the same password from his STL days lol and the scout logged (and this was all that the MLB found). Like it or not, using a login that isn't yours the obtain non-public info/resources is very much illegal and could lead to jailtime.

The entire Manti take down was an absolute operation to smear him and the University

It was all done out of love of money and ego. This isn't even controversial.

The fact that Tucker, Kanye, and Fox are indicted in this is not at all surprising.

Manti's only wrong is that he's too good and too trusting. Fuck anyone involved with this on even the most peripheral level.

I don't believe in hell... but that's where some people should go.

I will never get over Manti's Heisman snub. My wife's great great grandpa was on the board who created that award. I believe he was the President of the Downtown Athletic Club of NY when it started (maybe just on the board...I can't remember). Family rumor is that it was him who floated the idea of the name change after John passed. As far as that award goes, I've never wanted anyone to win it more than Manti.

Manti is the man, we may never have another leader on the field like that again. That said, I don't think he gets invited if not for the story. The media ran with it and the whole thing spiraled out of control. That's not a knock on Manti, that's a knock on the Heisman process. They basically just look at QBs and RBs these days, with the occasional WR, on the upper level teams. There hasn't been a defensive player to win it since Woodson, and he's the only defensive player to win it period. FWIW, Manti had just as many INTs as Woodson the year he won it, and a lot more tackles. It's generally unheard of for a LB to have that many INTs.

Fake GF story or not Manti was the best defensive player in the country and that's what got him to New York. The stats and leadership speak for themselves. The LB position continued for ND after Manti with Jaylon coming in after him.

I got so angry watching his documentary. That catfisher was so disgusting. Absolutely no remorse for ruining his life. But he's such a good person, he said he didn't hate them. He's a much better man than I am.

Was on GMFB this morning for the first time. Will be on the show regularly.

Interesting tidbit is that he said he got up to 295 after NFL. He’s following a body builder program and is absolutely ripped now
