I think the o-line and backs played a HUGE role in that game. I'd split the blame in thirds. Staff for not immediately adjusting and waiting until halftime, the line for not blocking and EG for making bad decisions. I think the nature of the game caused protection problems in the second half too. It's easier to get to the qb when you know they're passing.

I think this is an absolutely excellent point. I've also (believe it or not ) broadened by perspective, if only a bit, on the other side of this debate. Mistakes were made on both sides and if we are smart, as a nation, we will learn from those mistakes and come out on the other side a better country. Thanks for the note.
I agree man. This whole thing is just sad and disturbing. Maybe some good can come out of it if Florida takes a look at their laws and it keeps an incident like this from happening in the future.
