Was thinking he'd decide end of May but with all the offers ( just picked up Arkansas) he's thinking early June decision. Says LSU, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Notre Dame are all in contention. Says we are all even and he really likes UCLA too, his mom went there. He says everyone is recruiting him hard and A&M offers a lot of positives, location, coaches, feels wanted, JJ Gustafson, etc... but really happy to have all the offers all the schools offer so much.

thanks. title and description didnt live up to content.

I would also recommend, that once a title has been placed so that an interpretter/subscriber is then sought, one (the poster of the piece) would then ask for a brief rundown rather than blankly posting a link...

It's terribly confusing.

At least to me.

And I matter to me.

After just reading through the thread, if he commits to A&M it will be about the 3rd or 4th recruit who claimed to be an Irish fan growing up or said that ND was his dream offer that ends up going elsewhere.

Would you like to try to calculate a confidence based on 3 or 4 kids having grown up Irish fans and going elsewhere?

I mean come on bud.

Out of how many?

How long is the time period you describe?

It's called a kids life.

I should have been more specific. The time period is this year. Not sure on the number of total recruits who have said that. And if you reread my post, at no point in time did i knock a kid for living his life as you are alluding to. I merely stated that if he were to pick A&M over the team that he followed closely growing up that he would join a couple who have done so already.

... come on bud

It goes both ways. Lots of kids commit and will continue to commit to ND that didn't grow up ND fans.

Louis Nix has said in interviews he didnt know Notre Dame existed when he was growing up! So yah as Piombino says it works both ways.

Mastrogiovanni picked up his Irish offer when he visited South Bend with his mother for Notre Dame’s Junior Day in March.
“He loves Notre Dame and as a matter of fact, he may be coming back up there with his dad this summer,” says Katie. “He’s trying to think that one through. They want to get up there one more time with his dad.
“Notre Dame is such a fabulous school, so we’re still talking about it. I think it would be good for his dad to see it too so he can have some more input.”

The highlight video that is included in that ESPN article does not make him look impressive at all... makes me wonder if he has a video that points out the weaknesses in his game. The ESPN video was full of plays where he over-pursued or whiffed on the tackle. The video linked here is much more friendly to his skills
