Calvin Johnson doesn't play for the Cardinals.
I thought he was great when he played here, but Clausen is horrendous at the pro level. I definitely wouldn't trade for him.
This.

While Megatron may be the best catcher in the NFL, there is more to playing WR than strickly catching the football. I would rank Fitz and Andre Johnson still ahead of Calvin Johnson right now on route running, blocking, and just being clutch. Just my opinion though.
The best
1. Michael Floyd, WR, Arizona: Justin Blackmon may have been the best receiver prospect in this class, but Floyd is bigger, faster and now fortunate enough to be lining up in the same offense that features six-time Pro Bowl receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Even better, the two players already have forged a strong relationship. They both grew up in Minnesota and Fitzgerald has mentored Floyd, an All-American from Notre Dame, since Floyd was a high school star in St. Paul.
Because they're both about the same size -- Floyd is 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds while Fitzgerald is 6-foot-3 and 218 -- it's also hard to imagine many defenses with two cornerbacks who can match up with this physical WR duo. At this point, the Cardinals need not worry so much about whether Kevin Kolb or John Skelton is their starter next season. Whoever goes under center will have a much easier time throwing the football from now on.

If Floyd's friendship with Larry Fitz has been going on since high school and he has been mentoring him, why is this the first that I'm hearing about it?
that info is on a need to know basis.

I would trade for him in a heartbeat.
He played on the worst team in the league with the worst OL in years. Of course he was going to suck.
With the Cardinals current offense, I would love to see Quinn or Clausen get another shot at being the starter. Both were GREAT college QBs and both have plenty of talent to succeed at the Pro level, the Browns were not any better for Quinn than the Panthers were for Clausen. Seriously, the QB for the Cardinals need only throw the ball deep and someone in a red jersey will catch it.

You guys think if Tate had stayed for his senior year so Kelly could actually teach him how to run routes, that he would have been a first round choice? I like Weis, but his WRs didn't know how to run any route tree.
Yes. No doubt in my mind.
The thought of Jimmy Clausen and Golden Tate in this offense can melt one's brain.
I expected better.Saw this on BGI and just thought I would add it here. One hell of a career.
