From Fort Valley, which is where he lives, to Miami is 9.5 hours. From Fort Valley to South Bend is 13.5. It's not that much more. If he chose Miami he would play teams like Boston College (which is further away), Virginia, Virginia Tech, and other teams which aren't that easy of a drive.

It's a long way away and I feel like we are still in the driver's seat.

I know this. But this is just a prime example of not putting too much stock in what kids say.

dont have to worry about me. I might be the biggest negative nancy on this site when it comes to recruiting. you and me are on the same page brotha.

So we should put all of the stock in him saying he wants to stay in the south??

I see what you did there, but not quite. It just illustrates that they can change their tune publicly at any time so don't read into what they say, especially right after visits.

I guess I should have left off my last comment as it does seem conflicting. I just personally don't think he ends up here. I would love to be wrong though.

I know what you were saying, just pointing out it was funny that you sort of contradicted yourself. All good.

Florida now leads. Clemson and Notre Dame round out his top 3. Plans on getting back to ND some time this summer. Wants to make a post-season decision so there is still plenty of time.

Hopefully, Florida (and Clemson to a lesser degree) will struggle this fall and the Irish will be shining bright in their playmaking and the win column. That could definitely help move the Irish into the "leader" role for his commitment.

What made Florida his top choice? Anything unique that he really likes about them?

This makes sense. He was talking last week about how distance is a factor because he wants his mom to be able to come see him play. UF can't be more than a couple hours from his home in Georgia.

As Isaac Rochell said, UGA seems to let all the top talent in Georgia go

From what I have seen Bama recruits GA the best, UGA second best

Still focusing on Florida, USCe, Miami, ND, and Clemson.

Will visit the first four this summer. Looking at a December decision timeframe. EE candidate.

Man I live in GA and this place is loaded with talent. The only thing bad about here is all the delusional Uga fans that only have the 82 national championship to throw in my face but hopefully we'll have Rochell and Robinson to go with Tuitt and T.J. for me to throw in theirs. If not I have 11 NC's and 7 Heismans to feel good about.
